Not good. Unsure where the 5 star ratings are coming from, but our experience was very different. None of the food was authentic after just traveling from Germany 6 months ago. This is one of the first restaurants we went to that we didn't eat our appetizers and meals. Won't be coming back.

Great place for German comfort food. I had the Munich Schnitzel and goulash soup. The schnitzel was nice and soft, not over done, and the soup had great taste and lots of shredded beef. I recommend asking for extra Munich sauce when ordering, that sauce was good. My wife had the wurst sampler platter, she liked it. Our friend had the Hunters Schnitzel Strips, it looked really good, he said it was tasty. The portion size was a lot more than we expected, a big plus. They have Bitburger on tap so of course I had that for my drink. If you want some good German food this is the place to go if you're in the Niceville/Destin/Ft Walton/Miramar area.
Walked in probably after they were closed but they had the open sign up. Greeted by a little Thai lady who I later found out was the owner. She was so welcoming and thanked us for allowing her to serve us. Ambiance reminded me of Germany, as the owner had lived there for years and brought it to Niceville with her. Food was great, schnitzel was perfect, just like back in Germany. Our son had the Jaeger Schnitzel, my wife had the plain Schnitzel and I went for the Bangkok Schnitzel, all three were on point, our daughter went for the Currywurst which was a good level of spice. My Bangkok Schnitzel had a Thai Curry sauce and pineapples, it was a nice fusion. The bread was homemade and we ordered a second basket, because who doesn’t love a great homemade bread? A perfect reminder of Germany.

It was nice to have a change in cuisine! The Jager Schnitzel and the sausage assortment were great. The potato salad, red cabbage and sauerkraut were also great. I have family that are German so I’ve had many of these. I’ve found that Every German restaurant I’ve visited over the years have slight differences in recipes (kind of like Mexican cuisine). I would eat here again!

Wife and I tried this place for the first time tonight. No TV's to distract you. 1 Liter beer pours. Service was excellent! Food was really good! Just an awesome place. We'll be back!

This place is amazing! We lived in Europe and loved going to Germany for the food.. this place is as close to authentic as it gets! The bread, the schnitzel, the cola weizen, the cabbage…. All wonderful! And the staff is always sweet and kind.
