This place is great every time I come. Justin was super friendly, and the food was delicious, especially the house vinaigrette. I think the house salad with chicken is one of the best salads I've ever had.

This is our go-to for the freshest seafood on our side of town. The shrimp, my favorite, is fresh from the coast and never farm raised. The restaurant is clean and the staff is the nicest. True old Florida vibe but in the middle of a busy area.

I'm updating my review. I thought the service and food was bad because the last time I was in Jeb said they were updating their computer and service printers. Well being in the restaurant and coming back weeks later I know better. I'm not one of those you can pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. This restaurant is being ran the same way the City of Niceville is. In other words it's not. You can't ignore your customers just like you can't ignore your citizens before the cave is going to come tumbling down on you. I'm going to look up your health inspections and see what is really going on. I know several restaurant's have been closed in Niceville for filth and rodents.

There was 3 in our party and from the get go I had a feeling this restaurant was going to be a disaster. We were seated next to a door coming in from the outside and a male server with a very aggravated look came in carrying a tray of dishes and dropped them right at our table. All the servers were running around like it was opening day and they never did a soft opening. Jeb our server came over and took our drinks order. When he came with those we gave him our food order and the wait began. We ordered a shrimp basket, oyster basket and bacon wrapped shrimp. We didn't complicate anything, just ordered as it is on the menu. We were setting there for about 45 minutes so we decided to order hush puppies. They came out cold. In the meantime Jeb refilled our drinks and was going to get us some HOT HUSH PUPPIES. Now we're at about an hour and fifteen minutes and still no food. Close to an hour and thirty minutes our food comes out along with more COLD HUSH PUPPIES. The oyster and shrimp baskets were greasy and warm but at this point we knew we were not going to get anything better so we took napkins and tried to absorb some of the grease and make them edible. I asked for cocktails sauce and I got a little container of ketchup. I could go on how bad the food is but I think y'all get it. Jeb and all the employees working the floor were flustered. I asked him about it and he said the management was doing something with the system in the middle of lunch. Having been in the restaurant business as long as I was management should know you never mess with your system during operating hours. You only do that at night when you close so if something goes wrong you have all night to fix it. My late husband and our IT guy spent many a night at our restaurants so customer service was never affected. I will say a manager never came to our table to apologize, we were not offered a discount, or a gift card to entice to come back for another visit. Restaurants need to get back to hospitality. Not only that when I was presented with the bill they want you to pay for using a credit card. If I'm going to pay a local restaurant in Niceville to use my credit card I'm going to go Destin and enjoy the beach view which is exactly what my out of town guests and I have been doing all week.

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the calamari as appetizers and they were fabulous. For our main course we ordered shrimp pasta, fried shrimp platter + One of the flatbreads. All were exceptionally good and we would have again. Winter was our waitress and she had a wonderful personality and was very attentive. Food arrived quickly and hot. Pricing was extremely fair in today's economy. We chose to dine indoors though the outdoor deck/ water views were beautiful. Nice spacing on the tables so you weren't encroaching on other diners. I would definitely dine there again as well as bring friends and family.
