The jumbo shrimp is great! However, there’s a noticeable inconsistency with the wings. When added to an order, they’re quite small, but when ordered separately, they’re a normal, larger size. As for the fries, they’re just average—frozen and reheated, with no flavor.

Overall I gave them 3 star instead of 2 because their friendly, places is clean and drive thru moved pretty fast and my food was fresh, now taste could be better and amount need to be alittle more for the amount of money they charged, no snapper can beat the one on broward 1405 none but to bad I just loved too margate…

First time at this location and I read the 2-star review, saying there was no line & no one in sight, and almost just walked in. I’m glad I followed my gut and called in my order. The drive thru had a line and there were people inside. My food was ready when I arrived and tasted as expected. I normally just get plain lemon pepper but I tried the hot honey wings and they were soooo good! It’s obvious that Miss whoever review must work for Hooks smh. There’s no need to bash another restaurant in order to market another. There’s enough hungry ppl in North Lauderdale to have options

Hot, fresh, tasty and flavorful!
That's how I can describe my platters every time I get them. I can now say I have to go spot on Friday night when I crave catfish or snappers.
Yes after ordering it takes time, but that less than 5 mins waits is worth it.
The lemon pepper powder they put on the fries, fish, and wings give it a good kicked! it's to the point that I barely uses the packets sauce that they added to the bag.
It recently opened the service is great.

⭐️ Heads up—just go to the Hooks on McNab instead! ⭐️

So, I’ve been a regular at the Hooks on McNab for a while, and when Snappers opened up, I was hyped because I just knew they'd have to come with their "A" game since Hooks is right down the street. What a disappointment! I should've known better when we pulled up and the place was empty at 8 something at night. Not a soul in sight. Nobody in the drive-thru line-not one car. There's always a line at Hooks that time of night, and I mean ALWAYS!

So, I got the conch and shrimp dinner, swapped fries for okra, added a 6-piece wing, and they hit me with a $36.29 tab. Almost had me like, 'Excuse me, WHAT?’ Just last week, I got the same meal at Hooks for $5 less and way more food—enough for me and my man to share and still have leftovers the next day. Not to mention that at Hooks, they even throw in two pieces of bread and a soda with that combo. Now that’s a meal!

When they handed us our bag of food at Snappers, it was light. I mean, featherweight light. I had to double-check and make sure that they gave use all the food in the order. When you grab a bag from Hooks, you’re grabbing with two hands, one at the top and one at the bottom for support. My Snappers bag felt like I was holding a kids' meal for a toddler.

I must admit, the place was clean, and the food was fresh, but the flavor? Let’s just say Hooks has this one in the bag. Their shrimp are big and juicy, the conch’s thick and hearty, and every bite hits just right. Snappers? Tiny shrimp, skinny and chewy conch strips, and the flavor is just…meh.

Bottom line: save yourself the disappointment and go to the Hooks on McNab. The service is about the same, but you have to set realistic expectations for food service in North Lauderdale. This city is is not known for its stellar customer service.

They just opened this location. Everything is great. We had the chicken wings, jumbo shrimp, and snapper fish. Great quality food, great service, reasonable prices. The menu selection is good. They make your food when you order it. Give them a try, and you shall become their loyal customer. Eat in or take out.

Very nice & professional staff food is always Hot & ready ! I always come here , lemonade can be sweeter though
