I Don't know where these reviewers went but I'm sure its not the same Tabanka i have been going to. I have had nothing but exceptional service whenever I'm there, and believe me I have been there since they opened. Even family visiting from Trinidad the first place we visit is there. And we go back time and time again. So Kudos to the staff and especially the owner who always so professional and pleasant. Excellent atmosphere. great food. good service.. 10 stars..

Stopped in two weeks ago with my wife and little ones as soon as we landed and had their doubles for the first time. The bara, channa and sauces all have their own amazing flavor and when combined....well it is just heavenly. Had their Macaroni pie too as well as goat and roti and Chinese food, all very good. Top it of the the owner and staff are courteous, friendly and make you feel right at home even on your first visit. Decor was well thought out as well...to be that of old...

This Saturday was very busy after a carribbean street fete. The staff handled the crowd well - the line was steady.
I ordered the corn soup - highly recommend with the green season sauce - DELICIOUS!!
I also ordered two doubles to go & these were packaged well and also delicious !!
