This review is relevant for any local residents like myself who support this restaurant. I live in sunny isles and prior to covid ate at this restaurant at least twice a week. It was always empty but the servers were lovely, the food was fine, and it is within walking distance from my building. Fast forward to 2021 smack in the middle of a global pandemic and I still want to support the restaurant but choose to order food to go and eat it safely at home. But Baleen Kitchen makes that near impossible to do. In the last couple of weeks I have ordered carry out four times. They do not answer their phone so I have walked over, maneuvering through the pool guests who apparently think the pandemic is over, to place my order at the pool bar and then wait outside the hotel for the food. I think I'm a pretty loyal customer. So imagine my surprise when I called today (took five tries before they answered the phone) and they told me no, they will only service hotel guests. That's their prerogative to do so, but it's probably short sighted. This ridiculous covid boom that The Sole is experiencing is not going to last forever, and when this restaurant is empty in 6 months to a year, the owners might regret alienating a local customer who was eating there with their family over 50 times a year.

I wasn't able to attend my besties Dirty 30's Birthday Party @solèmiam. Thanks to Audrey, Zakia and all Baleen team I was able to gift her breakfast in bed, balloons and a birthday card. Thank you for going above and beyond.

My wife and I recently had a 5 night stay at Solé Miami, and we had a wonderful stay. The location of the property was directly on the beach and had great water views. Joel and Pedro were always extremely helpful and courteous as when we arrived on the beach each morning, and carefully set us up with lounge chairs, towels and an umbrella. The restaurant on premise had outdoor seating that was socially distance, and sat perched overlooking the pool and ocean. The food here is delicious! We enjoyed our breakfast and lunches here daily. Unfortunately due to COViD the restaurant was not open for dinner - please bring back dinner service! It would be a wonderful option to have. The staff creates a memorable and hospitable occasion. Fiorella was always extremely pleasant, as well as Victor who would often help us with breakfast service. The positive energy and vibes from the staff made us always feel welcome and prompted us to return time and time again. Zakia and Audrey were also exceptional hosts, and always ensured that we were being taken care of. Last but not least, Fernando rounded out the team, serving us lunch and drinks on the beach, always with a smile. During COViD, the personal element that the staff demonstrated made us feel safe, appreciated, and reminded of us what great hospitality is!! Thank you all.

I stayed at Solé Miami Resort and after the gym I wanted to grab something quick before heading to the beach. This restaurant is inside the resort and at the moment is casual outside-dinning by the pool (during lunch) due to covid but everything is TO GO boxes & they did NOT disappoint.Even their to-go FRIES stayed FRESH. Everything melts in your mouth. I will be back when they open for dinner once covid is over... because the INSIDE is definitely somewhere where I will have my birthday dinner at. It sets a good mood. The staff is attentive even with this Miami HEAT.

one of my favorite meals I had in sunny isles while on vacation. I truly still dream about those tuna tacos!! (Although they were SO tasty I will never get over how small they were.. literally 2 single bites for $14) the pictures online (mine included) does not prepare you for how small they are. The people at my table laughed. Pizza and salmon were also delicious. Waitress was nice and made great recommendations. Brought us bread to start off which I always appreciate and wow was that yummy too! View and evening was perfect and the seating area inside was also very cute and relaxing. Really a great experience overall besides the sizing/pricing. The only reason I am deducting a star

I celebrated my elderly grandmother's birthday in the private room of Baleen Kitchen. Spectacular view. Great Italian buffet. Incredible service by Zakia, the hospitality director from Belgium. She made sure I was happy and had all that I needed on the day of my event. The event servers, Edwin and Joana, provided friendly service and quick to do whatever was needed. Thankful for Caren, coordinator, who helped me get all organized prior to the event. Granny was extremely happy. So gr for this place. I decided to also have my birthday here and definitely planning to have more events.

This restaurant is such a hidden gem located inside of the Solé resort. We sat outside and it was delightful. Such a beautiful view of the ocean, while you eat. They bring complimentary cheesy bread & butter to Die for.. We ordered: Lobster Mac & Cheese, Fish n Chips, Skirt Steak & Shrimp Cesar Salad. ALL Highly recommended. The service was prompt. A little on pricer side but as expected. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the views and the food so much by the time we were leaving my mom was already planning the next time we would come back! The wild mushroom pizza was so good not too salty and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The burger was veery juicy and filling. We also tried the mahi mahi tacos, fish and chips and skirt steak. The truffle fries are a must!
Went here for lunch and had the chicken cuban sandwich in my girlfriend had a burger which was delicious spectacular views. Back for dinner had a pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad they brought us some bread which was delicious. Restaurant and lounge area is tastefully decorated with couches sofas and tables love this place. Service was fantastic. They had cute little chessboards and checkerboards to play while you're sitting in the lounge area

This hidden gem is perfect for lunch. If you are looking for a local restaurant, pull in up the steep ramp, valet your car and get teady to be amazed. Our server Yuri was wonderful. The Mediterranean Salad is super filling yet very refreshing. I will be back!

Foood was delicious, service was amazing, brunch was great with delicious bloodys and tasty mimosas. Fifth star held back due to pigeons on the balcony walking all over the silverware of unknowing future customers.... but everything else especially our server Fiorella who was just wonderful and fantastic! Thank you Fiorella, and everyone else involved!

I think the room is very nice, cozy elegant and fresh, the menu is a bit limited, staff was not managed well if there was a manager there on a Friday night. The portion were good, menus should be a little more vegan ish, I had the seafood combination I though it should have been served over pasta or in a better dish as it was served like a soup, sauce could have been thicker as well, may have been fresh tomatoes not paste but thin. My partner had healthy salad which she enjoyed but I think they missed on the shrimp cocktail which should have been atleast colasel especially when she only got 2. I would still recommended this place because of location and elegence.

Beautiful views for dinner! My partner and I had a moonlit dinner it was beyond our expectations! Such a great date night experience. Food was good, service was great, our waitress was polite and took many pictures for us :) will be back for brunch sometime again! Sharing with all my friends!
