I’ve been coming to Chicken Kitchen for a very long time. One of the things I love about the location on 135th and Biscayne is the consistency in the flavor of the food and the friendliness of the team. Luis assisted me today and reminded me of that. If you want to enjoy a fresh and healthy meal, you should definitely come in and treat yourself!

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this visit to Chicken Kitchen was beyond unacceptable. The food was cold, and absolutely nothing tasted fresh. It honestly felt like it had been sitting out for hours. I was already disappointed, but what really pushed me over the edge was the behavior of the employee behind the counter.
When I asked a simple question about my order, the worker slapped the knife on the counter aggressively and gave me a look that felt downright threatening. It was completely uncalled for and made me feel super uncomfortable.
The overall vibe of this location is just off – unclean, unwelcoming, and honestly, it made me lose my appetite. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Total letdown.

$19 for a bowl of rice with a half of chicken breast. This is extreme. It's average tasting at best. Not worth the money.

Where to even begin? Let’s start with the price gouging and work down from there. Why does it cost 2 people $50 before tip to eat at this fast food restaurant? Two bowls and two sodas = $50. Oh, and now they charge an extra $1 for the chicken skin. You know the chicken skin that they otherwise throw in the garbage? Yeah that chicken skin. Now let’s talk about the fact that when you arrive 2 full hours before closing they already have the store pretty much broken down, tables and chairs arranged as if to say “don’t even think about eating here.” When we left they locked the door behind us. 1 hour before their posted closing time. Then there’s the flies. So many flies. And the portions. They are heavy handed on the prices and ration the food like we’re in a famine. It’s a shame because the food is pretty good, but the GREED of ownership coupled with the indifference of staff plus the gross amount of flies equals an experience I’m not willing to have anymore.

I have loved chicken kitchen for years, this location is my favorite! Lazaro is exceptional, and the food is always fresh and delicious. You can’t go wrong with a chop chop with mustard and curry sauce, the pricing is reasonable, and they keep it clean. I come here atleast once a week. I wish they’d open one in Orlando!

Literally scared to eat the food right now, as I just watched the young man making my food flip over raw chicken then cooked chicken then back to serving food with the SAME tongs!!!!! That is a huge problem, they are going to make people sick. Ive been a fan of chicken kitchen forever and ive been coming to this one foe years, but not too sure the change of location and staff did them well.

Be careful when you ordering a food there guy who works there it’s completely distracted and doesn’t comprehend orders and will over charge you for the food .
He overcharged me $8 for my food that usually cost $15-$16 I end up paying $23
so be careful than he tell you I’m sorry papi.
Never gonna scam me again.

I am not sure if there is new ownership but since they moved locations the quality has been off. Just got home to open my chop chop to the first piece of chicken being raw. I never see any chicken being temperature checked when coming off the grill. This location has become miserable . Before I could get sauce on top of the chop now they won’t give you the sauces on the side if you do so. Also now this location charges for the skin of the chicken which they don’t even use a measuring cup so it’s different portions on each plate . This location has a money grab feel to it and I will not be returning.

Food tastes great. Prices are fair. But now came up with the “genius” idea of charging their loyal, returning customers for chicken skin. ¢99. Yes, you read that right. Ninety-nine cents if you want to add chopped up skin to your meal. They even bothered to disclose it by printing a sign and displaying it. Utterly unnecessary and embarrasing to say the least…

This is the closest Chicken Kitchen to me, so I’ve had no choice but to come here regularly, but I’m officially done. The staff is consistently miserable, rude, and unprofessional. Every time I try to explain my order (which isn’t complicated), I’m met with eye rolls, attitude, and blatant disrespect. One time, a man behind the counter actually started waving around the large chicken knife and mimed slitting his own throat because he was annoyed with my order. Completely inappropriate and disturbing.

I always speak politely, yet I’m treated like an inconvenience. I’ve gotten to the point where I have to bring my boyfriend with me just so he can order in Spanish, therwise, they act like I’m the problem and get visibly annoyed that I’m speaking English. It’s ridiculous. If you can’t treat customers with basic respect, maybe you shouldn’t be working in customer service.

Oh and don’t get me started on the fact that they just began charging for chicken skin?? Which is a part of the chicken?? I hate going here, but it’s the only location nearby. The experience is miserable every single time.
