This is the worst place to get a patte from , not only did they put half a teaspoon of meat in 5 inches of the pastry, the meat had no flavor, no salt , no spices , I don't know how they still in business but wow this is unacceptable guys wow.

I'm not in this area often, but when I am I'm in the mood for Haitian food. I've had griot (fried pork chunks) with black rice (delicious) before so I wanted that. There was no black rice so i had to settle for brown bean rice which is fine. I stood by the counter stupidly thinking the griot was ready right then and there, but it's made to order so the young lady somewhat gruffly told me to sit down. You may wanna go outside while you wait because there's no AC. After about 15 mins the griot came out and it's in a styrofoam container with tostones, pikliz spicy cabbage, a slice of tomato, Turkey gravy, lettuce, and green pepper. The large portion of brown bean rice is in another container. Everything looked delicious, was $14.98 including tax, and they take debit and credit cards. When I reached West Kendall, I was hungry and excited. The food was delicious, BUT in the griot there were 4 large fried pork bones (see picture). 1 or even 2 is a mistake, no cook is perfect, but 4 is totally ridiculous and dangerous. I'm not paying to eat bones, so I will definitely never go here again.

The owner, and cashier are just plain rude! Their lack of customer service skills and unprofessional behavior will make you regret choosing to visit Horace Bakery & Restaurant. The quality of the food is subpar, and they are stingy with their meat in their legumes.(vegetables stew) I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment as they clearly do not care about their customers. They are not willing to stand behind their goods and services, which shows a lack of integrity and a lack of care for their customers' satisfaction. We purchased an Ak100 and it was spoiled and they wouldn't give us the credit towards our new food purchase, they rather lose us as a customer then to give a $3.00 credit.. Save yourself the time and money and look for a better restaurant in the Miami Beach area.Dissapointing customer!! ????

Service is nonexistent if you're not aggressive. By the way, there is no sequential order at all.

Bread is ok, pate is nothing but hard overcooked dough. Customer service does not exist. Typical Carribean restaurant/bakery where they are hostile, abrasive, loud, and lack business etiquette.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't even write reviews, but I had to make an account just for this Haitian restaurant. The customer service was terrible, slow staff preparing the food and it seem like they don't really know what they're doing. An older lady is making the plates while a younger one is hovering behind her (when she could be serving another customer), seems like she doesn't know what she is doing. I've had tasty authentic Haitian food plenty of times but this one did not hit the spot. The chicken in sauce was very overcooked and dry, and the chicken patty was absolutely gross if I must say, not sure what mystery meat it was but it definitely was not chicken.

this establishment overcharged me and a friend because we were white and people with the same food were getting the same things for lower price who appeared haitian or black. Racist and unprofessional. classless low life of a business this place will remain with this type of behavior. MELD
