As someone who’s frequented this spot for years, I can honestly say it holds a special place in the heart of the city’s Caribbean food scene.

The restaurant is known for its authentic Jamaican dishes—from oxtail and curry goat to fried dumplings and callaloo. The buffet setup makes it easy to pop in and grab a hearty meal without the wait, perfect for lunch breaks or quick dinner pick-ups.

On my most recent visit, I tried the curry chicken, and while it was a bit saltier than usual, the portion was generous, and the flavor was still on point. One thing I’ve always appreciated is that even when one dish misses slightly, the overall quality and soul in the food brings me back.

I ordered through online delivery , I usually take that drive to Miami Gardens ,but didn’t feel like it . Anywho , upon ordering I had high hopes for this place . Once my food was delivered the hopes went down the drain . $20 + for salty curry goat BONES .i was thinking maybe I got the bottom of the pot ,but my husband also complained about his jerk chicken not having meat .The Portion size of everything else was good. Surprise it doesn’t come sweet plantain for the price . Or at least mines didn’t . Overall 6/10

I purchased a curry dinner plate from here a couple months ago, I was so excited to eat it & before I could get my second spoon of food I noticed fly eggs in my food. Threw the entire plate away, waste of $

I stopped by Kingston delight restaurant for lunch and had such a great experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed. I ordered the jerk chicken lunch special, and it did not disappoint! The portion was perfect for me—not too much, but still filling. It came with a whole leg and thigh, plus two dumplings, and I was full and happy. The flavor of the jerk chicken was amazing—just the right amount of spice and seasoning. On top of that, the price was incredibly affordable—only $6.00 plus tax. I left completely satisfied and will definitely be back!

Just left the gym and swung by the food truck—meat was actually really tasty, but they only gave me jerk chicken with rice and salad. No plantains or sauce, which was kind of disappointing.

Not to be funny the food is terrible I ordered the brown stew chicken.No no no I couldn’t believe how terrible it was and the price .
Better love going to Dutch Pot or Jamaica house

Came in really wanting a legit Jamaican Patty. Really excited until I took a bite. Soggy, mild, doughy and worst of all lacking flavor. I frequent Jamaican restaurants and seek the best ones. Fluffy outer crust, tasty filling, piping hot. This was way below standard. This doesn’t qualify, not by a very long shot. I cannot speak to the food, this review is solely based on the patty. Thoroughly disappointed. Bought it at 10:30 AM- if you stop in, avoid the patties. Seems frozen box bought. Truly bad. I took two bites and tossed it.

Order a Jamaican patty thinking it would be good taste like a frozen patty from Walmart with no flavor and cold very disappointed. Just keep your patty’s fresh
