I recently dined at VIVA and was blown away by the exceptional service and authentic Italian cuisine! The pasta dishes were freshly made and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, perfect for a night out with family or friends.

The place is absolutely beautiful inside and outside beautiful music playing throughout the owner chef and his son greet every guest and are very attentive.  The food was impeccable. Service was good really nice to have a waterfront Italian restaurant nearby, which has really good food and not expensive. outside sitting is a must absolutely beautiful

We went there looking forward to eating Brazilian food and found out when we got there that the restaurant had been converted into an Italian cuisine. The valet highly recommended it so we made the decision to try it, he also gave us some coupons for complementary glasses of wine. We were impressed with the whole night. Outside seating was very cozy and had very nice music playing. All the food, from the appetizer's to the main plates were very tasty and large portions. Highly recommend you try. Open exiting the restaurant we walked by the kitchen and were greeted by the owner / chef Luciano, he thanked us for coming out, asked how the experience was and gave us some more complimentary coupons for free glasses of wine. We are looking forward to our return.
Do not visit. I scheduled for this date got there and the restaurant was closed! After the we went 1 day after and the manager was absolutely rude, got my entire family order wrong (10 people) and screamed saying to me not go ever go back there again. I repeat DO NOT go here. I have been to thousands of restaurants in over 50 countries and was never treated like this in my life.

First off the good things, this may have been the best Brazilian steakhouse I've ever eaten at. Steaks were amazing, and the sides were equally as good. Take the capraheinas we're top-notch. We started off with a slow start with some very poor service and badly trained waiters. I waiter did not know the menu well, and did not have command of the English language so communication was difficult. When I asked what size the steaks were or the fillets, he used his hands to signal the approximate size of the portion, not the weight in ounces- this caused because several of the guests at the table wanted to split steaks it needed to know the size of the portions and ended up ordering individual steaks which could've easily been split as an example of 16 ounce New York strip steak between two of the female gas was easily shared by both. After the initial slow start and frustration of waiting for over an hour, we spoke with the owner who took over the table service and made sure everything was right. The food was simply outstanding. It rates is one of the top three steakhouses that I've eaten at, so if you can be lucky enough to get good service, you're going to be very well served and eating at this restaurant I cannot recommend it enough. The owner went above and beyond to make sure that our experience and our initial disappointment was taken care of, he comped around of drinks, reduced the cost of our bill, and provided complementary desserts, making sure that everything was taken care of and that all of our meals were to our liking. Highly recommended my only suggestion to the owners of Viva Brazil is Work with your waiters on knowing the menu in depth and communication skills as an English speaker, I found it very difficult to communicate the menu, and the waiter communicate the menu to me as he was not a English speaker.

Tasty food and good amount of food per plate. Only downside is they allow people to smoke in the balcony, we could feel smell of cigarette in our table...besides that place is pleasant, food and service are good
The place was surprisingly empty for a Friday night. Next door there is a night club with cigar smoking on the back deck. So the whole restaurant smelled like cigar smoke ? inside and especially on the back patio where we sat. Somethings are prices reasonably while most are overpriced.
Food was barely ok, we ordered the skirt steak medium well and they brought it medium rare, and both of them were smaller portion than usual, the escondidinho wasn't what we expected, watery and just 2-3 shrimps on it, waste of money, the service was just ok, needs to improve a lot, be seated outside was the best part of the evening.

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful scenery sitting outside in back. very cozy and warm. i loved that the waiters and waitresses let us sit wherever we wanted to. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced.

This had been one of my favorite restaurants for several years. The food and beverage options remain outstanding. What has slipped badly is the service the last few times I have dined here. The service team comes across as inexperienced and therefore lacking details and service points which takes away from a great location and food and beverage options. Hopefully the service will recover.
Food was well prepared and presented. Staff was delightful! We ate lots of the small plates and enjoyed each one! Imitation crab dip, scallops, yucca strips, cod fritters and truffle fries -

We had an excellent meal, its always good when a Brazilian restaurant has Portuguese speaking staff... makes me think its more authentic than some other place. This was a business meal that was well attended, the food was good.
