The food is a disaster, the plates full of sauce on the sides, they served me a meat on a board that looks rotten! I'm not going to that place again!

this place was so good, the server we had was so nice and it only took around 10-15 for the food to come. There is a very cozy place outside with fan and stuff for there to be no mosquitos and bugs. Their tune poke bowl and ribs was the best there ever is. We loved this place

Discovering a hidden gem in North Miami Beach after 25 years was such a treat!

Despite the heat, we opted for the cozy indoor seating, though the covered patio looked inviting too.

The meal was unforgettable! I indulged in the succulent 16 hour short ribs with rich, savory gravy, served atop a mound of homemade mashed potatoes that was served in cast iron skillet—simply divine.

The mushroom quinoa also served in a small cast iron skillet was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavors in my mouth of a creamy mushroom and truffle, and the fresh Burrata Mozzarella salad with tomatoes, greens and beets was incredibly soft and refreshing and fresh.

My friend enjoyed the crispy skin salmon and carrot puree so much that he didn’t share a single bite!

Portions were generous and perfect for sharing. Even with the crowded and lively atmosphere, the attentive wait staff ensured our experience was top-notch, even bringing an ice bucket for our white wine.

Though we had no room for dessert, I’m eager to return and sample more of their enticing menu, including the chocolate mousse and bread pudding.

Plus, I took home half of my quinoa and short ribs to savor later.

This spot is definitely worth revisiting!

Vegetarian options: Had about a half dozen all vegetarian options.

Parking: Strip mall parking. I got a space up front.

Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are tight inside but I'm sure they can make it happen.

Last month we went with some friends to the restaurant “Lettuce y Tomato.” Don't let the name fool you because this place is much more than a salad bar. It is a gastropub that offers a full menu of gastronomic delights. Although I had eaten at this establishment twice before, I would like to leave a review here because this restaurant is a beautiful surprise in the North Miami Beach neighborhood.

I made the reservation for 6 people through Resy and I did not encounter any difficulties making the reservation. In fact, I was able to send it to my friends so they could let me know if they were coming or not. When we arrived at the restaurant the host immediately met us at the door and escorted us to our table which was ready and set. Our first impression of the environment was that it was very clean, comfortable and decorated in a rustic but also elevated way. There wasn't much noise and there was a sense of space between the tables. The host gave us a few minutes to chat before bringing us water. This man, unfortunately I can't remember his name, was professional and knowledgeable and made us feel relaxed and at home. Then the waitress came and explained the menu and the daily specials to us. It was a very diverse menu with a fusion of food from Japan, Mexico, the USA (the delicious burgers!!!) and other countries.

Now, let's talk about the food. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations of the place given the restaurant's location inside an irrelevant shopping center in North Miami Beach. As they say in English, “don't judge a book by its cover.” As starters we ordered the tiradito trio - rich, strong citrus flavors - and the Brussels sprouts which were served with corn puree and basil cream. Pray him! The only starter that didn't shine was the Crispy Falafel which was in fact not crispy and the filling was mushy and poorly seasoned. A fault that we can forgive considering the rest of the meal.

Our palates were ready for the main courses. We ordered three burger variations - the House Burger, the Au Jus & Truffle Burger and the Dill & Salmon Burger. They were all delicious and juicy, especially the House Burger which had a very rich beef flavor. We also tried the Scottish Salmon and the 16 Hour Short Rib, both dishes were delicious.

At that point we were completely full but when the host offered us desserts, we had no choice. And what luck! The Bread Pudding of the Day with Vanilla Gelato, the Dulce de Leche Pot de Crème and the Chocolate Mousse were wonderful.

For five people it was a reasonable bill. Satisfied with the experience and the food, and with a warm farewell from the staff, we left the restaurant happy.

This was my first visit (definitely not going to be my last) and everything was great! Went for lunch with family to celebrate a Bday, decided to try Lettuce and Tomato as something different. The service, the presentation, and of course the food was delicious. Looking forward to my next visit already!

I randomly stopped by here because I was getting something next door, got the empanadas that I know are super simple but they were so delicious, best empanadas I’ve had in a while! I’m excited to come for lunch or dinner !!

Good gastropub in the North Miami/Aventura area. Lettuce and Tomato offers an interesting menu, with varied choices of protein and tasty appetizers. We had the jumbo shrimp buns for appetizers, and the crispy skin Scottish salmon (on a bed of carrot puree) plus the filet mignon sanwich as main courses. Everything tasted good. Price is a bit on the high end for the plates, to be honest, but it was still worth it. Service was good, and they offer indoor and outdoor seating options.

Location was not busy for a Saturday night. The service was bad from the moment we sat. We waited for the server. I was about to tell my guest that we would give them 5 more minutes when the server showed. From there it was all downhill. Got the drinks wrong, did not get my wife's drink at all until I asked. Sushi was not as cold as you expected it to be. Daughter's steak was overcooked, my sandwich was cold. I asked for a dulce de leche bread pudding to go and yup, it was wrong. Throughout all of this, the table behind us had two families with 5 kids screaming and crying.

I ordered the fillet mignon sandwich. It was the best sandwich I ever had. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fries were excellent as well. I will definitely be coming back. Loved it.
