Great authentic Haitian cuisine
Macillon is hit or miss. Lately it's been a complete bust! Multiple times I order griot soft and they'll put a few soft pieces and a bunch of hard inedible pieces. Many times I throw the food away, which means I throw away money. Unfortunately most of these Haitian restaurants are inconsistent so looks like I have to give up on ordering griot
Lady at the counter was nice
When i call no one pick up the phone
They never pick up the phone. When u come in to order they tell u 20 minutes and u be waiting for 1 hour. The workers in the front ignore you when u asking how much longer . It’s no structure at all!
Delicious food
Amazing haitian good. So delicious and freshly made. Definitely recommend the mac and cheese and the fried chicken.
Extremely slow service. I called at 4pm and it's now 5:38pm, and I've only received 2/3 of my order. I was told to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of my food. We’re rude to other customers and think it’s funny if someone is running late for work. They're lucky it wasn’t my money that paid for it, because they would never see a dollar from me. All they do is lie and take forever. If they don't improve their speed, customer service and others they'll lose customers and I wouldn’t be surprised.
Stopped here on a whim and I regret it. Walked in and first thing I see was a sign that says no refunds, check plate before you leave. I found it strange but ordered anyways and went with their griot plate no rice. The lady showed it to me and it seemed ok. Took it home and what I saw was very disappointing! The griot(pork) was over cooked making it very hard and they were small pieces. They put all the “meat” on top and underneath was all the fatty parts and there was a lot of fat! They only give you 4 plantains (they were good) and some pikley (super spicy) over all it was a huge disappointment and I will never buy from this place again. I see now why the no refund sign.
The best fried fish and fried plantain I've tasted in South Florida.

Great griot…
I placed a phone order at 5:05 PM and was told it would take 30 minutes. When I arrived at 6:20 PM, my order was still not ready. To make matters worse, when I asked about the delay, the staff appeared more focused on socializing and laughter than on addressing my concerns. After waiting an additional 10 minutes with no progress, I decided to leave without my order. This level of service is unacceptable.
First time I tried Haitian food and I am very impressed with the taste of the cuisine. The oxtail called in Haitian Creole Queue Boeuf or Ke Bef and the Goat in sauce called Cabrini en Sauce were delicious. The dish came with crispy plantains, a salad and a very tasty rice and beans which I believe had been infused with coconut milk and some nice herbs and spice. Excellent introduction to Haiti’s food and also very nice and sweet staff.
Worst Haitian food ever on top of that it seems as the Uber driver start eating so I had to throw it away .
I’ve never had this problem before, I came back from Texas October 2024, ordered 60$ worth of food, and within 4hrs, FOUR HOURS, everything, I say EVERYTHING I purchased smelled r-o-t-t-e-n! Spoiled! The first and only red flag that I ignored when walking into the restaurant and placing my order, was ignoring the printed paper signs that say “check your food, no refunds”. Who the hell gets a refund from food to where you have to put up a sign????? CAUSE THEIR SERVING OLD LEFTOVER SPOILED FOOD 😒😒😒 && those 2 and a half plates weren’t cheap either 😴 VÒLÈ !
