Good food

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the oxtails with vegetables--no rice--and it was packed with flavor. The oxtails were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the veggies were fresh and well-cooked. Even without the rice, the meal was satisfying and full of rich, comforting flavors. l'Il definitely be back to try more from the menu!

the salmon dinner 😩😩😩 amazing !!

Brown stew chicken is my favorite I order here at least 3-5 times a month. Fresh and real food for a great price!

Take only - but you’ll like it soo much you’ll want to take some home for your momma.
Salmon and shrimp is my order, but the jerk chicken is good too.

I went in today to order oxtails. The service was fast less than ten minutes and the lady who took my order was friendly. The food was amazing and I will be back.

Very disappointed. Charged $11 for a vegetarian meal. Paid the same price as a meat for such a small quantity. Will never go back!

Walking into this small restaurant instantly felt like stepping back home. The atmosphere is welcoming. Every dish is cooked with such authenticity and care that it brings back memories of family meals. The flavors are rich, fresh, and exactly how I remember them nothing feels rushed or commercialized. The owners are friendly and treat you more like family than customers, which adds even more to the feeling of home. I didn’t go inside but my husband did, seem to be a pretty decent I assume. The food wasn’t bad. I gave them a 4 star because there were 3 plates, I literally had all small oxtails.

Terrible service. I got 5 pieces of oxtail for a LARGE plate. When i brought it back and said that i wanted to pay for another plate, the owner scream at me and said that i was being disrespectful by bringing the food back. Although i offered to pay for another plate, he stated that he preferred that i leave for disrespecting him. My entire family orders from this place, we will not be doing so in the future.

I just got my food from them I order oxtail a large and the oxtail was sweet the jerk chicken was sweet just nasty I will never go back there they put sugar in all of their food nasty.

TRUE TO THE KITCHEN!!! I stumbled upon this gem by accident and I am SOOO HAPPY I DID!!! If you're looking for wholesome, well-flavored, taste-bud raving food, TROPICAL TASTEBUDS is the place. In an industry where most Caribbean food is starting to taste the same, this place stands out 1000 times over while still keeping that homestyle traditional flavoring. I ordered 3 different dishes: stewed oxtail, blackened salmon Alfredo pasta, and jerk chicken. Needless to say, every dish was chef's kiss and the portions were plentiful. This truly is the kind of food your soul, tummy, and pockets will appreciate!

I’ve been eating here for years & the quality of service & food has never changed! Everytime I’m near by I have to stop & grab something. Customer service has always been top tier they go above & beyond to communicate & ensure everything is perfect. No complaints after 5+ years plus their a black/Caribbean owned establishment continue to support then!
