First off, a huge shoutout to Chef Herbert….thank you for the incredible hospitality! Cod & Capers is an absolute gem in Palm Beach. The fish is unbelievably fresh, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming.

The best part? You can walk right into the fish market, pick out your fresh catch, and they’ll prepare it for you on the spot. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!

I enjoyed it so much, I visited twice during my stay in Palm Beach. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch seafood experience.

I took my mother here for dinner for a special celebration and everything was impeccable! Best seafood I have had in forever, sooo fresh! The steel drums were a lovely touch and the service was top notch. I recommend this seafood market and restaurant for anyone looking for the best seafood around, you won’t be disappointed!
Oh and be sure to try their gluten free Calamari! What a treat you are in for!

The fresh market at Cod & Capers is absolutely incredible – everything you see can be cooked to order and enjoyed right there! The restaurant menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, and we were especially impressed by their Wednesday and Thursday deals.

We visited on a Thursday and took full advantage of the $1 oysters and half-price bottles of wine – The atmosphere was made even better by an amazing steel drum performer, adding a fun and relaxing vibe to the evening.

The fish was super fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Whether you're shopping for the freshest seafood or sitting down for a casual, high-quality meal, Cod & Capers is a must-visit!

Food was overpriced, average quality (nothing special), and portion sizes pretty underwhelming. Wife and I spent $100 on dinner and left hungry.

We ordered the 2 lbs snow crab special and grouper main plate.

Disappointed at our experience tonight at Cod and Capers. Hostess refused to sit us down. We arrived at 5 o’clock meeting friends shortly thereafter, and we we were asked to stand aside and watch other people sit down by the hostess. A couple sat and 1 friend joined them later. We had friends coming from out of town to join us. We just tried to get a table ahead of time and refused to be seated and my husband has frequented this restaurant for lunch 30+ for lunch and given no courtesy at all. I will not be returning.

Go to the market about once a week. We go to the cafe maybe once a month. Always wonderful. Best seafood ever. So fresh. Lots of variety as well. Staff is great. Always helpful and knowledgeable. When I'm feeling economical, I buy their chunks. Today I bought a pound of pink swordfish, a pound of mahi mahi, and a pound of halibut. Without being asked the man (now semi-retired) wrote each type of fish on the wrapping. He is always knowledgeable and helpful. I also bought a pound of broken scallops, which is a great buy. When we go to the cafe, we always get their oysters. So happy they are in our area.
