Venezia Pizza and Restaurant

A cozy restaurant that we have been going to for several years. Ownerships has been investing in upgrades to decor and seating. A picture of Guy Fieri hangs on the wall. While he has not shot an episode of his show here, he has stopped in a few times with family and friends to enjoy the food. The ambiance is quiet, the service was attentive and food is very good.

We were a party of 8. Our waiter allowed us to have 4 checks. Our orders were all correct & everything was delicious. Definitely will return!

Second time there in a month and this time not nearly as good as last visit. The food nor service was great. Not sure what the issue was. I said I didn't like garlic and had to actually dish large garlic cloves out of my meal. One meal was served way after the other 3 people were served with no apology or reason for it. Last time I hurried back, this time I will not.

Venezia is a hidden gem. The food is consistently good and the service is friendly and accommodating.

We started with the antipasta which was plentiful and delicious. I had the shrimp parmigiana which was also delicious and plentiful. Our only complaint was the pour of wine. It was 3 sip fulls. Later into our dinner we noticed other patrons had almost twice as much as us. We mentioned it to our waiter (who I think was new) and he did nothing about it. The food is so good so we will definitely go back!

Venezia's never disappoints! Always welcoming, cozy, friendly, relaxed atmosphere w/DELICIOUS, freshly made food and very good wine selection. This is our favorite 'go to' spot for relaxed, casual, joyful dining! Venezia's remains a true neighborhood gem!:)

I ordered pizza via DoorDash today and it arrived inedible. This was an outlier situation as I’ve always ordered from this restaurant for lunch and for my employees. I’ve never had a compliant about their food, pizza is great and so is their sandwiches and dinners. I’m leaving this negative review because of the Owner’s inability to effectively communicate to his customers.

When I received the pizza and saw the condition it was in (cold, shriveled up, extremely thin) – I knew something had to of gone wrong. I gave the restaurant a call to better understand if this was due to DoorDash or restaurant delays. I respectively, soft spoken, shared the situation and had asked if they knew what happened. The person working the front desk passed the phone over to the Owner. I again shared the situation at hand and the Owner begins to raise his voice–complaining about how long the driver took, how it was sitting on the top of the oven. The Owner then begins to rudely share how he only makes $2 a pizza after all the discounts, DoorDash fees, etc. and proceeds to give me an attitude and raise his voice.

The outcome of our conversation really bothered me to the point of writing this review because my employees love the pizza and food here and order as frequent as 3-4x a week and he treated me as if I was a disposable customer.

To the Owner:
As being someone that worked in the Pizzeria industry for over 9 years, your response should have been this:

“I’m sorry to hear about the condition the pizza arrived to you. Thanks for being a loyal customer over this past year, something must have gone wrong on the DoorDash side because it sat on the top of the oven for a while before the driver came to pick it up. This is definitely a DoorDash related issue, I would recommend calling their support team so we can happily make you a new order.”

I've attached a YTD list of my DoorDash orders just for your restaurant. This is not including any of the orders conducted over the phone or by employees and visitors that I would recommend to your restaurant. Before saying ignorant statements about your profits on my pizza orders you should better understand the longevity of a customer.

Our party of 3 was seated promptly in the lovely new dining area which is very comfortable , cozy and quiet; we were welcomed as soon as we arrived by friendly courteous staff. The menu , including specials , was extensive with very appetizing entrees;and all our selections-which included soup, salad, meat, shrimp, & pasta dishes- were absolutely delicious! We look forward to returning again to Venezia..it IS a treasured neighborhood gem!

Wow, ordered a chicken parmigiana pizza. Was phenomenal!

Best Pizza I Have Had In a Long Time. Simple, Amazing Flavor, And Most Of All, Not Greasy! I will be grabbing more pizzas from here. I don’t leave reviews but this one was necessary. 10/10

The restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel who happens to be from New York. We were sure she would be sending us to a great place. We were wrong. The food was fair at best but the server was the worst. When she brought our main course while we weren't half way through our appetizers, we asked her to bring them back to the kitchen, she asked why. When I responded "we would like to finish what we had just stared and the ir timing was off", she actually said "I disagree with you" I was so surprised I couldn't respond. She then brought our dishes back to the kitchen only to return them in less than a minute. When questioned she said, I can't keep them hot, we don't have a light. Needless to say we will never go back and would discourage others to not bother going there either.

This place is spectacular, the service is very good and the food is excellent.

This neighborhood gem continues to sparkle! The restaurant is lovely, spacious & always welcoming w/pleasant courteous staff. The food is consistently OUTSTANDING: deliciously seasoned, served at just the right temperature, very timely service, but never rushed! We come to Venezia for a quiet ‘get away'/ cozy ‘home away from home'-and are never disappointed! What a great place for relaxed casual dining! Enjoy!
