Zeera Indian Cuisine

I normally like butter chicken, but I saw the chicken tikka masala was rated number two most ordered on their website so I got that and the garlic naan! And my God it was so good! I swear I could speak Indian now 😂😂😂😂 if you have any doubts about them, I’m telling you right now get it! It’s so heavenly and it was still hot and fresh by the time it made it to my house !

While on vacation from Chicago, we were on the lookout for an Indian restaurant that could hold its own within the crowd of excellent dining options in the North Palm Beach area. Zeera Indian (and beyond, including Nepali and other Asian) Cuisine more than delivered, offering an experience that felt both authentic and unique. The goat masala, cooked korma style, was the highlight of our meal. The tender, bone-in goat had clearly been simmered to perfection, and the rich, dark, and aromatic, savory but not too creamy sauce was a refreshing departure from the usual I have experienced in Chicago. Paired with butter naan, it was a dish that was both comforting and memorable in equal measures. The delightful tandoori shrimp were equally impressive. Cooked to perfection and served on a sizzling skillet, they featured a unique garlic-forward marinade that set them apart from the standard tandoori flavors, staying juicy and flavorful without overcooking.

The drinks and dessert rounded out our experience beautifully. The tamarind whiskey sour was a real standout, with its tamarind ginger syrup adding a creative twist that elevated the classic cocktail. For dessert, the mango kulfi was a delightful surprise—rich and creamy with a slightly “burnt” flavor, topped with whipped cream and a crisp cookie. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, making the whole evening feel relaxed and special. Zeera is a gem that we’d eagerly revisit, and it’s easily one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in a while.

From reading reviews I can tell that some of these people have not been exposed to real Indian food. I am an Indian food connoisseur, I have eaten at many Indian restaurants all over the world (and in the US) and can say this was the most bland, poor excuse for Indian cuisine. It ranks last on my list for any Indian food I have ever tasted. It will be most memorable to me for the most laughable imitation of Indian cuisine. I don’t usually write bad reviews but I really had to warn people, if you are really into authentic Indian or wanting to experience what it’s all about, this is not the place and the real crime is that people are going to think this is what Indian cuisine is like. To the people who raved about this place I can sadly deduce that your exposure has been minimal. My American friends I can tone it down and it will still be tasty. If you want really tasty, mouth watering Indian food that will make a lasting memory - this is definitely not it. We did not even finish any of the dishes. Watered down to the point of bland and not representative of the exciting pleasure of real tasty spices. If you are a person who has really little tolerance for anything spicy this is the place for you. But again the end product no way represent the tastiness and glory of Indian cuisine. The Indian places along Southern Blvd and Okeechobee Blvd is the real deal.

Food was amazing, spices were perfect and most dishes had options of spice level - mild, medium, spicy, super hot. Drinks were good too, happy hour 4:30-6:30 bogo beer & mimosas. Reasonably priced, and very very generous portions, we left with enough food for everyone for another 1-2 meals! As well for people with some dietary restrictions, vegetarians, there was a whole page on the menu dedicated to vegetarian options. Also for Thai cuisine fanatics, they did have a variety of Thai dishes offered at the restaurant. Overall we were very happy to find this restaurant and pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, staff, and appearance of the restaurant

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance was wide enough to fit most wheelchairs with little to no step up so I would say it is mostly wheelchair accessible.
