If I could give zero stars I would. I always noticed the smoky and uncleanliness of the shop, and the not so great bagels, the longgg waits for even someone to come out to the counter, but unfortunately its the only bagel shop around… as I can see from past reviews I am not the only one who noticed the rude employees who don't even say hi or thanks EVER and I have been there about four or five times. I will tell everyone my experience that I had recently when they stared at me with rude faces when I politely let them know we were unsatisfied with our 12$ bagel (not including our tip we left). We noticed there were no onions so my husband kindly let them know .. a girl comes out and gives us the tiniest four onions possible..they probably just scraped them up. I hateeee complaining and I could not of said it any nicer but I went back up to the counter and told two girls “hey look were dissatisfied the onions were so tiny were just letting you know they were forgotten to begin with..” they stared at me like I just insulted them.. then one of them OFFERED to make another for us. I said sure .. although honestly didn’t bc wed have to wait another 20 or so. So we waited ten more mins for the cook to come to tell us the manager decided NOT to remake another for us because we ate most of it while waiting for the right one (loudly in front of other customers) Okay, thats fine we never even wanted another, honestly just wanted someone to know the bagel wasn't right. After i told the cook we waited this whole time with my 7 month old i was going to leave a bad review he sarcastically tells us to have a great day. So i ask for the manager who not to any surprise was the girl who OFFERED to remake it. She said “i am” I said whyd u have us wait again then? She said she “called her manager” . 😂 who's the manager??? Now I'm confused but i let her know as well ill be leaving a bad review bc no one here has manners, and yall made our 12$ bagel wrong, she mocks me about how we ate the other bagel and then yells “EMBARRASSING” as I'm walking away. we were there for a total of 45 minutes in a disgusting and unwelcoming atmosphere and the only thing embarrassing is this place cant own up to a mistake and too broke to give onions on a bagel in the first place or hire adequate workers who have ANY personality or manners.

Horrible horrible experience. Staff was beyond rude! We politely complained that they had forgotten our grilled onions (which is made into the Chelsea Bagel) we wait about 15 minutes which was normal considering it was pretty steady. We didnt notice the onion until half way through so my husband let them know, one of the girls gave us the smallest container of onions (maybe 4/5 tiny onions in it). I went back up to counter to just let them

After waiting 10 more minutes (not exaggerating) the cook comes out to let us know since we ate our bagel ( we were starving after waiting so long with our 7 month old) that the manager decided not to remake a bagel for us. I said okay thats fine however we just waited a long for u guys to tell us that, ill be leaving a bad review and he sarcastically says have a great day.. so then I asked to tlk to the manager and thats when a short chubby blonde lady said she was the manager.. I said yall offered to remake it for us and then made us wait.. she said you already ate it (very rudely) i said ya while we were waiting we were hungry, im going to leave a bad review and she said whatever u need to do, I said ill also let them know how unprofessional you have been and then she proceeded to yell “EMBARRASSING” as I walked out the door. With a rooom full of customers. Disgusting behavior from a bunch of young workers with NO manners.

The bagels are great. I really like the Carnegie bagel sandwich. The inside has a smoky haze, from baking the bagels. Likely needs the vents serviced. The bathroom could use some sprucing up.

Bagels are definitely not a “New York” bagel. The store is run by very rude kids. The girl behind the counter rolled her eyes at everyone that came to order and it takes forever to order. Flys everywhere on peoples heads a food. Not a good experience.

After supporting this location for years, I’ve finally decided to call it quits visiting this location. One word describes the issue with this location… Inconsistency. One day you can have a great Bagel with cream cheese or a bagel sandwich, and the next day’s visit has you thinking it’s a completely different shop. From burnt bagels to forgetting toppings on sandwiches I’ve continued going back. I went back today after over a month since my last visit to give it another shot. Ordered an asiago bagel with cream cheese. Bagel tasted great, but had just a sliver of cream cheese. Not enough for even half of the Bagel. By no means do I like a lot of cream cheese on my bagel. As a matter of fact, sometimes I have to take some off from this very location. The inconsistency has readily just gotten worse overtime. Maybe in six months I’ll give it another shot and see if anything has changed for the better. Bagels make me look fat anyways..

love the bagles however extremely disappointed that they are closed on Mondays. I came to get some delicious bagles and saw they were closed on Mondays. as I sat in my car pondering on where to go next, I watched 6 other cars pull up, get out and walk up to the door only to turn around with the same disappointed look on their faces as I had. Mondays are the hardest day of the week, we could use a delicious bagle for breakfast to start the day. Please think about changing the hours to include Mondays. It's already hard enough you close at 1 everyday. Your bagles are the best around.

Ordered 3 dozen bagels with 6 variety of cream cheese for a party of 30. Bagels where not sliced and cream cheeses were not labels. The bagels are chewy which I question the freshness and if baked today. Frustrates on Christmas eve ! This location needs to work on catering services. Going to Panera next time. They know how to cater parties.
So I have been craving a good bagel sandwich for sometime now, and have tried other bagel shops; NOT anymore Empire bagel is the only place I need to go to fill that craving! The Gals that were working were amazing. Can’t wait to go back. 2 breakfast sandwiches; 12bagels; and a 1/2lb of flavored cream cheese under $50. I will not complain one bit!

I tried Empire Bagel for the first time today and well worth it. I had the asiago bagel with the maple bourbon bacon cream cheese. it was delicious. my husband had the boars head ham and turkey sandwich and he was very happy. great service.

It was absolutely amazing! Service was great and welcoming! I def will be coming again, the egg salad was delish and like taking a bite of my childhood! I will always recommend to my people and be coming back regularly!!
