I've lived in NYC and Los Angeles and was always able to find amazing Chinese food. But upon returning to South FL, I was so disappointed how bad nearly every place I found was. And then, I found this place. Just like NYC and Cali Chinese food. Amazing food. Prepared exactly the way I remember and prefer. This is THE place in Charlotte County for Chinese food. Nothing else compares. Trust me, I've searched for years.

The food and prices are very good. Very friendly and humble staff/family. I am very impressed with how well they are organized, and quickly service customers. After my wife had a baby, we didn't have time to cook and started ordering take-out frequently. The food taste fresh, homemade and healthy. We like that their food has a variety of non-spicy meal options. Everything we ordered has been delicious and on time. I recommend this restaurant to everyone for a healthy alternative....

I’ve eaten Chinese food in San Francisco, NYC, Denver, Seattle & Pittsburgh. Never have any tasted this good. The restuarants may have been fancier, located in expensive malls and city buildings. Rice House is in a hum drum strip mall on Tamiami Trail. But their chef is a master. The flavors and textures of every dish are extraordinary. Never had any better. From the potstickers to the egg rolls to the fried rice, to the Lo Mein, to the Fun Chow. No finer Chinese food. Period!
