“Anna Maria Oyster Bar - Ellenton, FL After spending the day at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, my fiancé and I decided to stop by Anna Maria Oyster Bar in Ellenton—and we’re so glad we did! We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. If you’re in the Ellenton area and craving fresh seafood with great service, this spot is a must-try!“

“I've been going here for over a decade. Yesterday, I called the number from Google and placed an order. 5 mins later I was called back by a 713 area code saying the restaurant was requesting a credit card before they would start making the food. I declined and said I'll order at the restaurant. She sounded disappointed. I get to the restaurant and ask if that was true and they said no. He confirmed I called the right number. And said it hasn't happened to anyone else. My friend in cyber security said it's possible the call got intercepted from someone at the restaurant. So just beware. I called back again to see if the same "3rd" party would answer. I noticed I high pitch tone in the beginning of the call. I hung up, and the 713 area code called again asking if I'd like to place an order.“

“Service is great, love the employees here. BUT WHY THE PLACE SO HOT??? Turn down the a/c please. We shouldn't be sweating while eating our soup.“

“My husband and I went on Veterans Day because he is a vet. They brought me chicken parmesan when I ordered egg plant. When they brought out the check my husband asked if thee was a difference in price because they brought out the wrong kind. Needless to say they sent us home with a fresh order of egg plant Parmesan and comp my meal, which we did not expect. My husband’s meal was free because they honor Veterans with a free meal. We have always liked this location and have never had a problem.
For as busy as they were the manger Ashley made a point to stop at every table and asked about the food and took time to talk. That is good customer service and don’t see that anymore.“

“I stopped by here for a quick lunch, and it was not too busy. I ordered a grilled chicken with avocado blt and a cup of creamy tomato soup. My order was ready very quickly, and the food was tasty. All in all, I will be back again. The quality of food is good, the staff is friendly, and the price does not make you break the bank.“
