Hawaiian Shave Ice is the reason I stopped in and trust me when I say that's plenty enough justification to visit this cute little shop. The hot and humid July weather validatEd my decision and since I was in the area well it was the perfect opportunity to grab one of these delicious treats. I always struggle making the decision on what flavor to get - it's usually always tiger's blood which has always been one of my favorites but I decided to branch out a little and risk it a little, there are two cherry flavors black cherry and regular cherry I chose the latter and decided to kick it up a notch and add sour and lots of it - well I expected the brain freeze but the pucker effect was a little surprising I guess my taste buds don't have childhood memories but still remembers it's so delicious. We also opted for a safer choice, the strawberry, that too was delicious but a little too safe for me and a little boring in my opinion, but hey I'm not one to judge. Shave Ice is often referred to as Shaved Ice but it's distinctly different and you must have the right equipment to create this magical frozen snow before drenching it with these whimsical flavors. This little shop offers plenty of other novelties but for me it's an easy choice and a medium cup of shave ice will always do the trick, it's probably more than most will eat although it tough to put down, for a little extra you can upgrade to a large which is ginormous and could take some doing to complete the task. The staff here was very friendly and accommodating and offered up samples when I appeared to be a little indecisive. Some may say it's just flavored ice but once you taste this you'll know the difference and a regular snow-cone may cool you down but will never deliver this level of pleasure..

Absolutely amazing ice cream and so many flavors. I personally recommend the fudge brownie with ice cream. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, definitely a great place to bring the family for a treat!

What can I say it's Hawaiian ice it's delicious! Good service reasonable pricing and a very extensive menu. I recommend the tiger blood Hawaiian blue and blue raspberry with a scoop of coconut ice cream at the bottom enjoy!

Sign on the door says open at 1 on Sundays but no one was there. 3rd time trying to go and it supposed to be open but not. They need to fix there times written online and on there door.

I'm so sad. We drove here because online it says they're open at 10. We got here at 9:06 and magically they decided to change the time of closing to 9 PM. This blows! I don't understand why they don't tell people that they change their times of operation.

It was such an experience having ice cream here. The place is very clean the service was state of the art but the quality of the product is outstanding. I ordered a strawberry berry shake and as soon as you take your first swig you end up looking at the cup like what is this. In other words, the taste of the product is a real awesome experience I'm definitely coming back and I will drive here from Sarasota. Try it out
I've lived here for 4 years and this is my second visit. I love the family atmosphere, and they deserve a better spot on the complex sign to advertise their business, because I honestly didn't know it was here. It's a great fix for my sweet tooth, and I love the selection of hand scooped ice cream- even though I pick a milkshake

The snow cone I had was delicious. They were really slow though. There was only one person working in the back when there was a line. Yet again, I think every person was getting like 50 snow cones with every topping for their whole family, so don't entirely blame this on the worker. I would recommend for next time

After living in North Port for a year and passing the Shiver Shack almost daily, I'm surprised that I only just stopped in recently. A lot to choose from as far as flavors when it comes to snow cones, ice cream, floats, and milkshakes. They've also got pretzels, nachos, and hotdogs. I had a really hard time because the Dr. Pepper float was really calling my name, but decided on a delicious passion fruit snow cone with some sweet cream on top. Boyfriend had the mango and it was also really good. Reasonable pricing, the small snow cone which was a decent sized scoop, was I believe only $5. Due to Covid they are not allowing anyone inside, so you order at the window and wait. It did take a while for our cones to come out, in which we had to endure a screaming child having a tantrum while the parents did nothing (really fun). They were at the only table outside so we had to kind of awkwardly stand and wait. I wish there was a bit more seating, but I understand that space is limited. I guess its ordering to-go for a while! 4/5.

Owner has little customer service skills . Asked for 2 small was given 2 cups of ice cream for 11.00 kids didn't even eat it had to throw it out. They changed ice cream and it was awful.

The snocones are overpriced and just okay. The woman who took our order was not at all friendly or welcoming, and we felt pressured to make a decision before we were able to read through the flavor options. Added costs for some flavors and options are not made clear.
