I have ordered food to go a few times and it is always delicious. In Pennsylvania where I moved from Waffle Houses were kind of broke. This WH in North Port is clean and constantly busy. Even getting food to go and driving home to eat it is still great which is not always the case with take out. The reason I came to write thia review was because of the super sweet waitress who always helps me. I wish I caught her name but she seems to be there quite a bit and knows so many customers by name which is very special. She is efficient and great at her job while still being very pleasant to deal with. I hope someone sees this and gives her a raise! I don't think there is a lot of servers as the place is pretty small. Keep up the good work NP WH!

Our waitress, Domonique, was wonderful; very gracious and welcoming. Unfortunately, she was stuck with a total jerk manning the grill. We watched him, in our opinion, assault Domonique while he was having a hissy fit about an order. He was almost yelling as he rudely "brushed" by her to throw something in the trash. That action pushed her into the stuff on the backside of the counter. He continued haranguing her loudly and publicly, to the point I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. We were so upset we left without ordering (giving Domonique a $20 tip), but I came back in to remind her that the whole incident should be on the video surveillance system, and I would be glad to testify as to what I witnessed.

I've visited this location several times at night. Only a few times during the day. They never disappoint. The food is hot and fresh. The servers are polite and attentive especially Lizzie. Tonight I had raisin bread, sausage eggs, and grits. The decaf coffee was made right.
Always way too busy, always understaffed, and the service is terrible. Food is always messed up, the wait staff is always dropping things on or near you, and the wait staff is extremely rude. Last time I went there the waitress was rude when asking what I wanted to drink, then after politely telling her what I wanted I also nicely told her I was ready to order, she then raised her voice and said “I’LL GET TO YOU WHEN IT’S YOUR TURN!” Right after she had just helped a table behind me that had arrived after I did. After sitting there for 30 minutes before she even asked what I wanted to drink. I decided to leave immediately after being tired of waiting and being treated very rudely. Do not go to this Waffle House unless you want horrible service and disgusting food.
