Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant

Food was very good. With a group of 12 hard to pleas eaters. Did not hear one complaint. My choice was a steak burrito with fries. Meal came out hot and delicious fries were done to perfection and my soft drink was not watered down. Service was equally good for a group of 12 people. Restrooms were surprisingly clean and functional. Parking was pretty easy but our group arrived early.

The inside is super festive. Our waiter seemed like he was supposed to leave an hour ago and was quite annoyed. The horchata is delicious. As for the food, it was good. Some of the things came out cold, which they did fix. The fajitas were good and definitely shareable. The beans and eggs lacked flavor. They have a fantastic tequila selection and some upscale bourbons.

Incredible but true: a Latin restaurant, mostly staffed by Hispanics, yet the service for Hispanic customers is terrible. Racism among our own people—how sad. Everyone deserves respect and good service equally, and no one should feel ashamed to speak Spanish.

Ate here on a Sunday afternoon, early bird special type time lol. Really nice and festive on the inside. Menu is seemingly the same as other vallartas around Tampa. Big fan of the burrito bandera. 12 inches of absurdity. Chips and salsa set down on table within 30 seconds of sitting down. Can't beat it. Willl be back !
