This place is so fun. Only cattle. But all kinds and colors. They have a small diner with huge hamburgers good fries large drinks. And definitely try the fried okra!

Roads Traveled Photography

Dining at The Livestock Market has been on my bucket list for several years. Today, after picking up a load of feed from the local Feedery, I made it a priority.
As a history button, I was intrigued with the building itself, which, it was built in the 1930’s, making it older than most people that walk through its doors.
Before you enter, there are signs stating No photography, videos, or lifestream etc.
I was granted permission to take these photos, with the exception of any auction of cattle that might begin before I left, that would be against their rules and is strictly enforced with No photography.

The market is upstairs, wipe your feet as you enter m, cause as you hiked up those steps, remember, that was cow manure your getting on your sneakers soles, not mud.
Once inside I was greeted by several
Country girls with smiles wider than the Kissimmee River.
Seating is limited in the small dinning space, so be prepared to make friends and converse with your neighbor as you dine. I sure did.
The girls are very knowledgeable of the buildings history and proud to talk it up.
The special of the day was Lemon Chicken, broccoli and steamed potatoes.
I really wanted that chicken meal, but all I’ve heard by everyone, is, ya gotta eat their burger, so a burger it was.
This ain’t no ordinary burger, it was hot, juicy and cooked to perfection! Bring your appetite if you plan on finishing this thing cause it’s huge! Mine came with a side of tater tots that was also cooked perfectly. A lot of food for a low price.
Oh, and bring cash cause they don’t take plastic.
I should’ve mentioned in the beginning that there is a wheelchair lift so don’t let those stairs deter you from going upstairs and dining or just enjoying at the auction. What a great find this place is I will definitely return.
I sure would like to see some type of history marker out front going back and just discussing the building, the original owners and just the cattle industry in general. This was an incredibly awesome visit.

Wanted to have a real fresh meal. Heard the beef was great, and it is. Definitely great food, good prices. Located on the 2nd floor and can't do the steps? They've got you covered. Take the " Lift "!Not to be confused with "elevator." It's outdoors, under cover, wheelchair access, and just maybe a little history.

Great hamburgers & fried okra. Loved the ginormous tea & soda they served. Hope to go back when they have the steaks.

Love their burgers! I have eaten burgers all over the country Boston, new York, Chicago, Iowa, Colorado, Minneapolis, Tennessee, Washington D.C., you name it and only one other burger holds next to this one! It's always nice seeing friendly faces when you walk in and always excited to get the food. If you haven't tried their burgers do it, they're highly recommended! 👌
