The Specked Perch is our go-to for a steak dinner in Okeechobee, Florida. A small unassuming exterior leads to a quaint dining room with a cozy family feel. We always opt for the steak tidbits but the menu boasts many different cuts of steak cooked the way you like it. Over the years they have had some inconsistencies with cooks but lately they are spot on. It’s well worth the drive from Palm Beach or Martin Counties for a great steak dinner that doesn’t break the bank!

The food was extremely bland… The restaurant is old and dingy…. Service was good waitress attended us great. But that’s all that was good about this restaurant..
I use to live in Okeechobee and it was never this bad….. Now I know why it was empty on a Friday night…
Well worth the drive to the Gator Shack in Sebring/Lorida!!! Now that’s a steak house
