The Specked Perch is our go-to for a steak dinner in Okeechobee, Florida. A small unassuming exterior leads to a quaint dining room with a cozy family feel. We always opt for the steak tidbits but the menu boasts many different cuts of steak cooked the way you like it. Over the years they have had some inconsistencies with cooks but lately they are spot on. It’s well worth the drive from Palm Beach or Martin Counties for a great steak dinner that doesn’t break the bank!
Omgoodness their filet tidbits are the best, never liked filet mignon but these are the best, love the soft lighting & the lady up front is always awesome & sweet. Very polite. The cakes are delicious too. I lovvve this place. Eat here every time I bring my dog to vet or passn thru. ❤️

Food & service was fantastic :) I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, if you want to come here make sure you make a reservation in advance. We were told we needed to wait 30 minutes to be seated, and another 30 to receive food which we were fine with. We came in after 30 minutes, and were told we’d need to wait another 30 minutes to be seated as we watched someone in front of us get seated. We waited and in the long run, we received our food after 4 hours. Again, lovely place...
