Showed my CLIPP (formerly local flavor) certificate to waitress was told ‘not used’ broken English) paid, went to bar and asked for the manager. I was told in a few minutes then back comes the waitress asking if everything was OK and I said it was fine (although taco ground beef with salty) and again showed the certificate, well, no it’s not us - she verified. I was at the restaurant on the certificate, and that was their address- asked again for the manager or the owner, was told they were not there. I requested their phone number. She came back five minutes later and told me the owner was on his way, maybe 5 to 10 minutes. I said I would wait and waited a few minutes and gave up. I didn’t know what the next excuse would be. I called clipp and their automated system told me the certificate was valid. Now that I read they are under new ownership, I can somewhat understand. However, the back-and-forth, salty beef, prices and no solid management on site, I won’t go back. I am pursuing further with clipp.
One of our favorite Mexican food spots in the area. Food is amazing and priced well, service is always fast/pleasant and the owner Diego is very kind. The margaritas are also great!

We had a wonderful experience at El Paraiso! Drinks were amazing thanks to Diego who’s a magician. From chips and salsa, queso and all our entrees it was fabulous!!!!
We found this restaurant accidentally and decided to give it a try. It was excellent.
I ordered the shrimp chimichanga and it was loaded with shrimp! The outside was crispy and the melted cheese on top was delicious! My husband had the chicken chimichanga and his was also leaded with meat. The portions are very large as well. Definitely worth the money.
Can’t wait to try some other items on the menu!

We stopped in for lunch since it was highly rated. It was Sunday, around noon and it was slow. The Salsa that comes with the chips is a bit thin. I ordered the El Chingon chicken burrito and my wife got a chicken Chimichanga. Hers was loaded with chicken and came with a side of rice and beans that was excellent. Mine was beef instead of chicken, even though the waiter came back to our table and repeated chicken right? When it came back I took a bite, it was cold, mostly rice, beans and very little chicken so I was disappointed. This is more of a Tex-Mex restaurant and prices are on the steeper side. Guess we might give it another go?

It was very nice food was wonderful. But the service although very friendly was very slow it looked like they were short staff. But they were very friendly and nice. I was so hungry I didn't take a pic of my plate.

The food and preparation is on point!!! The owners are absolutely great! My wife and I have been there more than a dozen times since they opened. It is actually a hidden gem. We’ve brought friends and they’re hook!! Great place!

Tasted ok but small. Not much chicken.
No chips & salsa, just tacos.
The price is outrageous.
