Miso soup was delicious, but a very small portion (about 1/2 cup). Sushi rolls were good and had lots of flavor. Enjoyed the artisan soy sauce. Wonton soup was a huge hit. Only reason I took a star away is because the miso soup was sooo good and I wanted more bang for my $.
Great atmosphere at the restaurant when I went in on a Wed PM. I was helped immediately and even as a doubled checked the order I was not rushed and instead the gentlemen was willing to help.
I will order again from here (hopefully w a bigger miso cup ;))

They use dehydrated wasabi, which I didn’t know was a thing. All the places I went to used paste and boy does that quality make a difference. They only have pickled ginger which I’ve never had and it was very floral like perfume. I’m used to ginger being yellow and tastey, this was not. They also use too much “seafood” vinegar in the rice so it was really sweet. Other than that the quality of the veggies and seafood was good, just not matched with dry, sweet rice, that had perfume tasing ginger and gritty dry wasabi.
First time there never again. Makes since how they have a roll on “happy hour” that cost five bucks.
We spent over 75 to try the place out. But we goto a place with better quality for only 25-40 bucks more. Wouldn’t go back.

Service was good and the atmosphere was fine. But the food was incredibly underwhelming for the price. We tried four rolls, nigiri, and two small appetizers. $100. We left disappointed and agreeing to not go back.

Gyoza was delicious. Sushi was even better. One of my favorites so far in the area. The location is really nice. Only downside is not a ton of parking up front around the restaurant. Not sure if more parking around back. Would still go back either way.

Delivery was just as good as dining at Hot Tuna, VERY RARE... typically restaurants have everything dishuffled on take out orders, not HOT TUNA, perfect everytime!

The sushi at Hot Tuna was pretty good—fresh and flavorful, definitely worth trying. Unfortunately, the steak was quite dry and not something I would order again. The ginger salad was below mediocre, lacking the punch I expected. The edamame could use a bit more seasoning to really shine. Dumplings and soup also arrived lukewarm; serving them hotter would make a big difference.
What really stood out, though, was our server, Ene. He was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience much better despite some food letdowns. Service like his makes all the difference!

They have amazing two rolls combo with either a soup or salad for the price of around $12! Ginger dressing on salad tasted very savory with a good hint of ginger. Sushi rolls are a little more rice heavy than what I prefer but the sushi was delicious nonetheless. Got takeout and they provide you with all the utensils you need and extra sauce which was perfect for eating at a nearby park!
This was not a night club :(
I’ll change it to 5* when you change your take-out packaging. If my fish got enough to melt the plastics you put it in - plastic is not meant for that food! Not healthy.

A strange place with background music that seemed to lack any concept, confused hipster waiters, and a chaotic order of dish service. The sushi looked like it came straight from Publix, and the steak was a true jaw workout. We left puzzled, but not angry because despite the lack of professionalism, the place offered a rather amusing kind of amateurism.
