I stopped by this cafe this morning and bought a chocolate cake, a lemoncello, and a coconut kiss. The chocolate cake is very dry. I think it has been sitting there too long. The lemocello is too tart and tastes very eggy. Except the cookie, they’re not edible.

This restaurant was recommended to me and I'm so glad. They are a very varied menu and all of it is very good, especially the eggs benedict and mimosa! It's a great place to have relaxed conversation with a friend without a lot of noise and distractions. And, I haven't even sampled the pastries yet, though they look so delicious..I look at them, though, every time I come!

The breakfast was very good and I loved the service, all the waiters were so friendly and polite and while you are there get the chicken waffle and the waffle combo they were both so yummy and flavorful. I am so glad we found this hidden gem.

If you haven’t been to JGoody Bakery in Oldsmar, what are you even doing with your life? Best bakery in Oldsmar, food is a hit every time. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. Coffee is always fresh. Highly recommend – 10/10 would go back and eat my weight in pastries.

Pros: 1. Great selections of warm and cold beverages 2. Breakfast and Lunch menus are abundant 3. Steak & Eggs with Breakfast potatoes is delicious accompanied with cafe con leche 4. Overwhelmingly delightful array of pastries and desserts- I wanted to try all of them! (I recommend the creme brûlée) 5. Server Alissa is very friendly and provided great service.
Cons: None (Will need to burn extra calories at the gym after eating the delicious foods, pastries and desserts. Can’t wait to return and try other options)

We got the strawberry tres leches, meringue, strawberry cream cake, lemonchello, chocolate truffle and peanut butter mouse. All of the above we took to-go as my partner had to go to work soon after we arrived home with our goodies.
Everything was great except for the strawberry cream cake, it had a weird flavor… very chemically, almost like gasoline. Which was such a shame as that was what I was most excited for. I believe this is due to too much baking soda or baking powder, maybe even butter if they used it.

Had lunch again at JGoody’s. Met the Owner and Chef Jose from Guatemala. Great guy. Excellent food. Love this place. Even the French fries are fresh! Family owned and operated. I’ve eaten here many times. It’s welcoming and mellow. A true gem. Treat yourself.
