Salt Rock Tavern has become a favorite place to eat. The food is always good. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The dining area is clean and well maintained. They have a Supper Club menu that gives you a salad, a full-size entree and a mini dessert (1/2 size) for a service price, about 20. I definitely recommend.
We were a group of 8 senior ladies and we enjoyed their early bird specials for the great price of $19.99 which included salad and dessert. Our server was excellent also. It was our first time there and we gave it a thumbs up so we will definitely be going back.

We had the shucked oysters, Caesar salad, Scallops scampi, stuffed Hogfish and the hot apple crisp pie. Everything was delicious. Hogfish was a little dry but still very good. Look forward to going again. Service was great.

This is my favorite bar to watch sports in Oldsmar. The staff is friendly and the food is great. I love their Ybor Burger and their rotating selection of beer on tap.
Their outdoor bar is also very nice, especially during cooler days and evenings.

First visit was this week sitting at the bar with friends and the food and service (bartender) was amazing. I really wish we could have sat inside and dined, since we have always loved the Salt Rock Grill, but our friends had their dog so we had to sit outside.
I have to take away one star for atmosphere because of the smoking. I know it was outside and to be expected, but it was truly disgusting and ruined what would have been a perfect evening.
They have signs posted up all over saying "No Cigar Smoking" so why not just take it one step further and make your patio area non smoking? Honestly, we would rather it the other way around.
The smoking at restaurants, outside included, needs to just be over. Other than that, we hope to return to try the inside since our food was delicious.

Very nice in and outdoor dining. Have a nice little happy hour wish it was a little bit longer. Surface always kind of come and go had to stand in front to well she talked to someone else about nothing as we stood there with a group of six then we're finally seated However that just is one day hope it doesn't happen everyday. Food's good You enjoy yourself and they do have some really good googly options including a hamburger without a bun which is delicious.
Good food and service at best prices I have seen for a comparable restaurant lately. Wide menu selections.
Parking: Plenty of parking behind the building, some in front.

Our meal was amazing, the food was really good. I appreciated the JUICY Med Rare burger, Super Tasty and wrapped in a lettuce bun as I can’t have bread. The whole table was raving about the food. The only miss was my side, I ordered broccoli well cooked and it came out very al dente. I didn’t eat it, told my server and she didn’t care. She didn’t say sorry or offer to get another one. But she uncharged me for it. We ordered a small appetizer that didn’t come before the food arrived, so I politely canceled it and she made a noise and told her coworker to cancel it for her. Not, i’m sorry or no problem. She acted like we were an inconvenience in her station. We enjoyed our dinner despite her and would go back, just not in her section.

⚠️ CAUTION: My mother and I went here for the first time two days ago. It was moderately busy but not packed. We both ordered Baby Back Ribs and both had little meat and were very dry. (Overcooked) Our waitress let us pick something different. I had the Oldsmar Flatbread pizza and my mother had the bacon wrapped sea scallops. The flatbread isn’t too bad. Doesn’t have the most flavor and was a little bit in the heavy side. Other than that it was good. The bacon wrapped scallops were a shame. Sea scallops that were not whole and the bacon was undercooked and very fatty with little meat. Upon asking for a box I was given a joke of a container. Basically a very small Chinese To-Go box. It wouldn’t fit the whole flatbread. The waitress refused to remove any dirty dishes, silverware or cups until we left. She also had an attitude and minimal customer service upon learning the ribs were dry. Overall we will NOT be going back. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING PLACE. ??
