I tried the lunch menu and I was not disappointed. The tacos had good seasoning corresponding to the style. The alcoholic beverage was my favorite. I was not a fan of the rum glazed sweet plantains. Service was great and good atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit.

The food is always amazing. I love the volcano shrimp taco but I come back and fall in love with one the new specials! Not only is the food amazing but the staff is great too. Haleigh the host greeted us and was so personable and sweet. I will come back again and again!
A child was being disciplined by his father this evening, to which the father thru a chair at him, told the mother to stop protecting to her son, threw cutlery at her and then proceeded to kick the child twice under in the leg under the table. The mother held her two younger children. A bystander told the father to stop - and the manager came to bystander and said that person was making them guests feel uncomfortable.
The bystander should have not said the anything and continued to allow the child to be kicked in the shin and leg. After the child was crying and sobbing. The mother clearly had been in situations like this and is aware of the continued abuse. But the bystander was the issue - and making people uncomfortable - not the father abusing his child, throwing chair across the room and making the child cry. Great - excellent management. 10,000% not child friendly.

We held a holiday get together at Shaker and Peel. They were incredibly accommodating to our large party. Our server, Chase, was friendly and efficient. The food and cocktails were excellent. We had so much fun and the get together was a success thanks to Shaker and Peel!

First of all, our waiter Spencer was awesome. The unbeatable beet salad and the roasted brussel sprouts were delicious. The shrimp tacos and cheeseburger taco was very good. The Korean BBQ taco was good and spicy. We loved all of the food.
