Professional chef. Premium product. Menu is small, it keeps quality high. Service is a little slow but with it. 5 star

The night auditor, Erik, went above and beyond the call of duty. My battery died during the night and Erik used his car and jump cables to get my truck started after his shift ended. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were all friendly. I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Oldsmar.
Complimentary amuse-bouche or palate cleansers between courses to surprise and delight diners.
Awesome theming, extremely cute, good food.
My Sister and niece reserved this stay on Booking.com for 5 days 4 nights. While the rate was perfect u don't find out until you check in that they want a $200 per night incidental hold on your room ($1000) for any damages and such. We thought it was a communication misunderstanding because the young lady had to call her supervisor in order to confirm it was per night not just 1 night. I inquired as to what could possibly have happened in this hotel for them to charge an extra fee for $200 per night. We were disappointed as the supervisor told her we can immediately cancel our room and we could go else where. Say less trick! I walked across the parking lot to the Holiday Inn Express. I was hit with a burst of lemon citrus fresh air when the doors opened to the lobby to a modern clean updated space. Handsome Caleb (biblical name which we connected to devine intervention) because he had a 2 queen bed room available at a rate of $112 a night w just a $50 per room incidential fee. we immediately checked in and was told about the complimentary breakfast, biscuits w gravy pancakes turkey and pork sausage a variety of cereals, toast, danishes, fruit, a juice bar, apple, cranberry and orange not watered down w also egg and cheese omelettes and grits. Coffee regular and decaf, Delicious. my sister and niece were so excited that the room at the Courtyard didnt work out. I called them the next day and spoke to a supervisor and was told the General Manager for the two Marriott hotels in that area Francesa Garmon made the decision for the $200 a night incidential charge. I stated Oldsmar is not a party town like Miami and Las Vegas for damages to be incurred at that rate per night and you have families w young children who probably was just able to travel after 3 years of Covid and I'm sure have their finances carved out to arrive to their hotel tired and hungry to be told oh yeah we taking an extra $1000 on your credit card for your stay. She further informed me that they are working on putting that in the description for booking sites when reserving the hotel. I said you know dayum well you all purposely don't disclose that information until a person arrives because who would book before hand? Marriott do better.
Nice clean hotel! The TV in our room was not working. Checking in was smooth. The shower was perfect. Location was great close to an event we were attending. Also nice restaurants nearby. The bed and pillows were comfortable. One thing I noticed that the elevator was hot and the push button panel was loose.
I chose this hotel because I've stayed at Courtyards before and wanted that experience. I was a bit disappointed that the hotel was undergoing a major remodeling, and the elements of this brand were not there, yet the hotel was charging full rate (~$250 per night). While I'd have to say the staff members were very nice, as well as our room, the entire sitting area downstairs was entirely boarded up, the workout room was unavailable, and the breakfast area only had a very limited menu of pre-made items. The price of a stay should have been much less since their normal amenities weren't available.
I stayed on 2 different nights over the course of one week. Overall, the rooms are dated - around the 1970's. I was told the whole hotel is going to be remodeled stating in under 2 weeks with a completion deadline of end December. The rooms were clean. The only area that should have been maintained better is the tile entry block to the bathroom - my room # 220 - it was almost black, a little elbow grease with Mr. Clean miracle sponge and it would have looked much nicer. Also, room 220 is next to the linen closet, so if you want to sleep past 8:30 do not get a room next to the linen closet. My second night was in room 428, which had been maintained better. Breakfast did not come with the stay but they have a reasonably priced breakfast available. Although a side of eggs was not on the menu, I was able to get a side of 2 eggs for under $5. The staff at the front desk were very nice. I am glad the the hotel is being updated. I plan to return in December to see how the remodeling goes.
I booked here as I really like the Marriott brand. Their rooms are really nice, especially the beds and bedding. I requested a top floor, which I got on check in (although I was told over the phone prior they had none available). When I went to shower, there was no hot water - really luke warm which was disappointing. So a quick shower was happening! If you book here and request a balcony, don't expect to sit outside. It's a very narrow standing area only. They also have a beautiful grotto area that you can sit in in their backyard. Unfortunately, the cushions for the seats were on the ground - dirty, rain soaked and unusable which made the plastic chairs very uncomfortable. They also haven't fully resumed breakfast yet - still a very limited menu to choose from, although the egg sandwich I ordered was delicious. When I explained this to the woman when I was checking out, she was unfazed by the cold shower. I was hoping at least some discount on one of the nights that I stayed, but she just said "sorry, I'll send maintenance up to look at it". Well, hopefully the next guest won't have to deal with that.
Enjoyed staying here while on an away trip to play a game in Tampa. It's clean, well-provisioned, and was a great value relative to where I needed to be for our game the day after I checked into the hotel. Highly recommend this Courtyard!

My wife and I recently spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott in Oldsmar, FL. It’s located about 15 miles northwest of Tampa. We picked this location as it was near family that we were visiting. We stayed for free using Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. The hotel is located on a fairly busy highway, so there are many shopping and dining places within driving distance. Outdoor parking is free. The lobby decor is fairly modern with the expected COVID precautions. Check-in was fast and staff were friendly and professional. There is a business center off the lobby, as well as a fitness center. An outdoor pool is in back. We didn’t use any of these amenities. Our room came with a king-size bed and loveseat. There also was a rollout table/desk arrangement. Decor was fine, with red being the predominant color - it seemed retro 70s to me. The wardrobe had an iron and ironing board. There was a coffee bar and a space where the mini fridge must have been pre-COVID. (A great space to store small luggage now.) The bed was not very firm, but comfortable. Five pillows were on it. The AC worked fine, but was very loud when it kicked in during the middle of the night. The bathroom was functional with a tub/shower combo. It also had two grab bars and a ledge for sitting at the end of the tub. (Maybe it was a designated handicapped room?). There was a hairdryer and a selection of Paul Mitchell toiletries. No bath robes. Shower pressure was fine. Directly across from the registration desk is the dining area. We expected the usual continental breakfast and were surprised that there was a charge for the food. Options seemed to be limited to coffee, pastries, bagels and sandwiches that could be heated in a microwave. Our bill for two coffees (my wife raved about hers, even though she normally doesn’t like Starbucks), a bagel with cream cheese and a heated breakfast sandwich was $16.16. Not too high as breakfast for two goes, but a jolt when you’re used to a complimentary meal. BTW, the counter guy was very friendly and engaging All in all, we were satisfied with our stay, and would stay again if in the area. But we may consider dining in a real breakfast place.
We moved here after spending 2 nights a block away at the Hilton Garden Inn. Our room here was much larger as well as less expensive. Unfortunately Mother Nature decided that she was in a bad mood so we were unable to use the pool. Nadya at the front desk was wonderful. Pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. My only issue was not all rooms have a refrigerator.
Stayed here for a family event. Had a great check-in experience with Michael, who was very nice and helpful. The other employee who stood- out was Brian in the cafe. He went above and beyond for us and helped a few people in our party who had dietary restrictions and preferences.
We had a nice stay at the Marriott. The staff is friendly. Our room had a mini-fridge and microwave. Careful with the frig; the settings were on high and our water and food froze. The room was comfy with a desk, couch and clean bathrooms. The only thing that is missing from the room is a hotel safe. Soaps and shampoo provided and hair products are Paul Mitchell brand. The GPS wanted us to perform a U-turn, but that's not necessary. Just turn at the light and there's a safe entrance into the hotel on the side street.
The food is good except the fries, its nice to have a little booth with a tv too! However the cashier who took our order was less than excited to do so! Overall its a great quick bute relaxing too!
