Food, Drinks was very good. Atmosphere was pleasant very quiet due to only 7 patrons present during our visit. Male was only waiter, one female cleaning tables.

The food presentation was absolutely beautiful, however, it was awful tasting. Way too salty and something else was off about it. I had a beef chimichanga and my husband had the beef and shrimp fajitas. I tried his shrimp. The shrimp tasted like it was old. Like it had been reheated in a microwave. My husband is a chef and so he knows his food and how things are supposed to taste and so do I. The lighting in the restaurant was inadequate, although the restaurant was very clean. I do not recommend this establishment for eating. Please Zappatas, get your act together. Upgrade your quality of your food products or hire better cooks.

I hadn't been in this restaurant for a while & stopped in for some takeout. I was the only one in the lounge at 5:00 pm, which did worry me a bit and only a couple of tabels of people in the restaurant. Although my server/bartender was very nice, I made a BIG DEAL out of emphasizing that I hate sour cream & PLEASE be sure there wasn't any on my order. When I got home, my taco salad was smeared with sour cream to the point where I couldn't eat it. When I tried to call to let them know, the phone number said it "Could not accept calls at this time"! Very disappointed because I left a really large tip for Giovani.

Very nice place, great atmosphere and the food was good. Had cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. I grew up on this. Great flavor, salsa or hot sauce had a good kick to it. Will definitely come back here!!

Excellent Margaritas!!! When we came onA Saturday night at 6:30 we were expecting a crowd. Maybe the impending threat of a hurricane kept some people busy. While the restaurant was full, the bar was mostly open. Patron margaritas were on point. So off to a good start. The bar tender was waiting our tables but it was pretty slow so we never felt left out.I had cheese enchiladas and while they were good, it’s my personal mainstay for a GREAT MEXICAN place, and these just got a 4 Star on those. The MEGA BURRITO on the other hand was AMAING!! A perfectly light cilantro and lime green chili sauce made it PERFECT.I will definitely go back, just next time, I might just order the fajitas.

Excellent food. A good place for vegetarians! The veggie Chile is very good.

Always one of my go to places for consistently good food. My grilled fish was mushy tonight.

I will have to say the food here is pretty authentic. I dined here with some friends and ordered the pollo fundido and was not disappointed. The rice is really good as well. They give complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were pretty stale the first time around, and when our server brought another batch, they were worse. Hence my four stars..I'll be recommending this place to my Mexican parents so that a lot to

In the mood for Tex-Mex, my wife and I opted for a local place we have visited in the past. We were greeted and seated quickly. As we glanced over the menu, warm chips and salsa arrived. I asked for hot salsa and was brought a bowl that carried great heat. My wife, as always, ordered the burrito. No adventurous choice there. But she did request the giant loaded Burrito Loco with half shredded chicken and half shredded pork. I opted for a three combo plate with a hard taco, beef enchilada, and tamale with sides of Frijoles and rice. My wife's burrito was superb. As usual she ate half and took home half, which our daughter discovered and finished later, also a common practice. My taco was crisp and great, as was my enchilada. My tamale was very good, I just prefer more of an even balance between masa and filling. Overall great Tex-Mex and a great price.

Had lunch here. They give you chips and salsa for free. Got the beef taco salad and my wife got the 3 pork tacos with beans and rice. Delicious food, made fast. I recommend for a quick lunch. Server was fast and friendly. They also have huge cups so I didnt even need a refill. Will be back. Great prices too!

The food was good, more traditional Mexican as compared to a Tijuana Flatts. I had the floutas and they were ok, nothing special that makes them stand out. The wife had traditional tacos and the neighbors had fajitas. The appetizer was chips and queso which came out with the food. They were extremely understaffed. It was our server's 4th day on the job and she was the only one on the floor. From the sound of it there was only one person in the kitchen. After we were just about finished our meals a 3rd person showed up to help but at that point the rush of customers were done. I will try again but if they have the same issues I will downgrade my review.

We were looking for a place to eat at 9pm on a Sunday. Most restaurants close around 8pm. We found the perfect place at the last minute of closing, zapatas mexican opened their door.. the staff was so incredible nice and ready to serve us. Food was delicious.

Huge portion sizes and low prices make this one of the best restaurant values. I ordered two tamales and a chile relleno, a nephew got the taco (the size of a toaster, i swear); his son requested a burrito (literally the length of his forearm): the sampler plate was a hit, and we got things off the children's menu for the toddlers. Their mother enjoyed a generous margarita. For 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and the 2 toddlers, the bill was under$114 - so less than $20 a head.

Nice atmosphere and food! The staff was really friendly and nice. We ordered a ginormous burrito and chicken flautas. Very filling and yummy. My observations of certain things left me with giving 4 stars... While I enjoyed my food, the ends of the chicken were crispy crunchy burnt. Also, the windows next to the booths could use a nice cleaning... Otherwise, I recommend.

Great "old-school" Mexican food at fair prices with excellent service. The servings are ridiculously large, so you can probably count on taking some home. We'll definitely be back.
