Although they are a great bakery and gorgeous cakes, the chocolate quality is subpar. Not sure what cocoa is used but tastes very bad to me. I think you'd benefit from using European chocolate. The bacio filling for example is good the outside chocolate is horrible

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding cake! Casa Gioia made our wedding cake and after changing the design last minute and trying to find the best solution to our design I can say with confidence that our cake was not only the most beautiful cake but had the best flavor. Our guests raved about it, and there wasn’t a single slice left by the end of the night.
