This Restaurant is in the heart of my hometown. Opa-Locka. It is physically just a structure. It is Take-out only. But you will be taking out pur goodness. Home Style is all about their food. No bells, No whistles, No frills....just pure soulful goodness.
The food is just ok. It's average. The order takers can use more patience and get a little more professional.10/26/25.Aftee going away for years. The food has improved. I think it’s different cooks throughout the week, the food taste different depending on the day. Also the ribs are sometimes tender, which I only had one time of it being tender. Next time day back to normal.
Every time that I go, it’s what I expect. That is some good food for a good price. No one ever said this was the place of spectacular southern hospitality, just that they provide food. I mind my business, get what I need, fill my belly, and have a good day. I have never been met with a nasty attitude because I don’t go there looking for people to be overly cheerful and friendly. I respect them, they respect me, I get my food, and I’m out. Imma keep going there for breakfast...
