Our first vist, dining in, was fantastic. We ordered a variety of items off the sushi menue that were exceptional. I have been a sushi fanatic for over 40 years now and can say Ashai is at the top. Inside is quaint, the service exceptional, and the takeout orders were flying out the door. Definitely will be back!

It's ok. Fish is mediocre, rice is sub-par. Edamame was cold. Ginger was that super cheap dyed stuff. Albacore was not really albacore 🤦 Miso was good, salmon was decent. We live across the street and probably won't go back. Three stars because they're nice people. Decent pricing.

Don't judge a book by it's cover! This is a hidden gem in a strip mall. The restrooms are run-down, but the food is amazing. I love sashimi. I get the sashimi bento every time I go, but I have tried other dishes. You just can't go wrong. My only complaint is that the tempura isn't quite as good as it used to be. However, everything else is wonderful! I usually also get a salmon sashimi appetizer and one other app or salad, just to mix things up a bit.

Ive been going here for years. It has changed owners and at current, the new owners seem to really care about the place and food. Ive been to other sushi restaurants around town...its like night and day. Especially when ir comes to the sushi. Example... If you go to other sushi restaurants that grind up the tuna and it's not one solid tuna. Other places puts fillers and for the money...youre not getting the full fish. You can actually see the tuna/fish. Its always fresh. I once was told by a master sushi chef...if you walk in and it smells like fish...walk out. I highly recommend this place...its my wife and I's goto for sushi.

I have eaten at every high dollar sushi & Japanese restaurant in central Florida. This place is by far the best and at a fraction of the cost. Family owned and operated. They have been in business for something like 40 years. One of the oldest businesses around and for good reason.
