Strangest experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We came in with our 3 kids and my parents. We were seated, and quickly after, a small child probably 5-6 years old who was a workers child, decided to join our table in the one empty seat. At first we thought it was odd, but didn't think much. But he never left, took food and drinks from my kids, was taking the paper and markers we had brought to entertain our kids and was rolling it into balls and throwing it through the restaurant. Not once did a waiter, waitress or his parents come and ask if he was ok sitting with us, apologize for his behavior or acknowledge it at all. We paid $107 to babysit someone else child which I find completely inappropriate. We usually loved Moya, but I'm not sure we will be back just bc of the lack of concern for customers. I get that sometimes with small businesses kids have to come too, but I felt like we could not enjoy our meal that we paid a lot of money for, bc of someone else's child.

Just visited today. The food was excellent, however, I can't say the same about the waitress.

She seemed nice to my cousin who came along with me (we're still laughing about it) and even offered him water after finishing his tea...which he received with a straw and lemon. After having some food I decided to ask for some water myself...to which she gave me a glass half full without any of that fancy stuff, all while offering to refill my cousin's for a 3rd time 😆 Getting her attention seemed difficult as well; however when we did get her attention, she didn't hesitate to hit me with the full bill.

I understand sometimes people are in a hurry or have a bad day...but please keep this in consideration for future services. There are other details I won't get into, however, if you know I'm the one paying the bill, don't treat me like I don't exist. Sometimes it's the little things that matter. The food was excellent, but I won't be coming back.

Q.B.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. The chicken was a bit too pale for my taste, and the sauce was gelatinous. I have never seen a gelatinous teriyaki chicken before. I didn't take a single bite because when I picked up a piece of the chicken, the sauce slid off and folded over, which completely killed my appetite. The rice was underdone and cooked with a lot of snap peas or edamame, which I personally did not care for. The water was seemingly unfiltered tap water, a bit off tasting. I only ended up eating one of the gyoza (which was VERY fried), and it was actually quite yummy. I definitely recommend those.

Not pictured, my dinner guest got the chicken & filet mignon hibachi, which was similarly pale and gelatinous.

The server was sweet, and the place was clean, but no one asked why my meal was untouched. We didn't bother to complain, just paid for it anyway, but we will not be returning - my food experience was definitely a 1 star, but I don't want to review it that harshly as it may have been an off night.

The food was sooosoooooo disgusting. The tso chicken was bland, dry, and rancid. The fried rice bland and it tasted like it was cooked with chemicals. The shushi roll was gross. What a waste of money. I want my tip back. What a horrible experience NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER BE BACK. THE FOOD, shameful... it was like dog food. Your customers aren't Animals.

Amazing vibe. Very friendly owners, they knew everyone that walked in the door. I've had a few places like this in my life where it just feels like home. Good prices, great portions, the bento box was massive! I will definitely be back. We need to protect businesses like this with our lives!

My husband and I love the hibachi food but when we ordered from Moya Sushi Asian Cuisine it was disgusting. We made three orders from the hibachi entrée and they were all nasty. No flavor, no color everything was pale. The steak wasn't even cooked right. The shrimps felt like I was chewing gum. We wasted to much $ to get food that wasn't close to good. We will NOT be going back there.
Very disappointed customer.

We decided to try Moya Sushi Asian Cuisine before embarking on our anniversary trip. The establishment is nice inside (not so much outside). Our waitress was somewhat brash and seemed to be in a rush as that seemed to be her personality type. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. My General Tso's tasted ok but wasn't crispy as it should be which means it wasn't fresh. The fried rice was flavorful though and the sushi was decent. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't great either.

The sushi is good, the chicken hibachi is really good, and the service was great. The cheesecake and mochi ice cream were also wonderful. It's rare to find a restaurant where everything you order is delicious.

Great overall experience, if I had one gripe it would be a limited amount of vegetarian sushi roll options. However the ones they offer are tasty

Quiet, clean place that has been present for about two years. They are big on rolls more than sushi, but everything we had was excellent. The preparation is done by trained sushi chefs. This is important! They are Asian. Not being prejudiced, but I'm married to an Asian and we want our Asian food prepared by such. Just like any authentic ethnic food. ? We got a bento lunch to go so we could use a coupon we had. That was great as well. Waitress was fun in helping us "order more!" It became a little joke.
