When it was Rhondas Diner it was gross and I saw nasty bugs everywhere sitting at the counter and in the kitchen it was dirty I went back when it was Sallys Diner saw the kitchen again and it was like night and day very clean so I gave the place a second try the food was amazing burger was cooked right was juicy fires were crispy and good portions it took 15min to get my food and my waitress Kimmy was amazing i left her a $10 tip then when it turned into Michael's I went in again thinking I was going to get the same meal and service as last time it took 45 min to get a mid rare burger and fries the burger was over cooked and greasy the fires were soggy and also greasy I couldn't even eat the food and it was only 7 fires on the plate and the waitress was snobby and rude when it was Sallys portions were huge and burger was perfect but now its Michael's Sweet Eats the portions are small because the new owners are cheap there and the kitchen is gross again i even saw bugs in the dining room their cutting corners everywhere they can they have ruined a great lil restaurant I will now drive from Deland all the way to Longwood to the other Sallys Diner never again will return to Michael's Sweet Eats and they even made me pay for my food I didn't eat !!

The menu has a great balance of hearty comfort food and indulgent sweets, and everything tastes homemade. The desserts, in particular, are out of this world rich, creative, and perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of place where you can come for breakfast, lunch, or just to treat yourself to something sweet and leave completely satisfied. 😍😍😍😍

We only went once, so maybe it was an outlier, but we waited almost an hour for our food. They didn't seem in any hurry at all. It wasn't packed either. The food was decent, but priced higher than many other diners in town.

The food was fantastic. It was very quiet inside, we were able to choose our seats. The waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. I always ask for soft bacon and it came out perfect. The bacon also had a maple taste to it, absolutely delicious. My husband had the grits with out cheese and said they tasted just like grits are supposed to. When we’re back in the area we will be back! Thank you!

The food is amazing, especially the breakfast my wife and I tried! It gets busy so the servers get busy and spread thin, but they are positive and give good customer service. My wife and I will be coming back!
