There is no way this location on Kingsley has 4.3 stars from customers! This location is so horrible!! They weigh the food and ice cream which makes it more expensive...the staff acts like they don't want to be there, they nickle and dime you for everything! If you get ice cream in a cup, they skim off the top of the swirl making the ice cream come just to the rim of the cup...heaven forbid they give you a swirl that fills the high lid that is made specifically for the high swirl that every other dairy queen in the country gives you! It looks like they may cut the chicken tenders in half so you don't get a full tender like everywhere else too....at least that is what they look like! The onion rings are never fresh, or crunchy...making us think they were cooked ahead and microwaved. And if you get an ice cream cone for a child and ask for a cup (just in case) to put it in if you need to, they actually argued with us and tried to give us a small Styrofoam cup like for coffee...when we asked for a bigger cup they said they had to charge us for a drink. This is absolutely the worst not just dairy queen, but fast food restaurant we have ever been to and if corporate was paying attention, they would cancel their franchise contract with whoever is running this place!! My brother said they were charged $80 there for the same meal they had gotten for $50 at the dairy queen on Blanding. Think twice before going here.

I always come to this Dairy Queen and I always rave about how good they are, but I’ve noticed that since the Dairy Queen on Blanding closed, the food has gone downhill. It’s almost like they don’t have to try anymore because they have no more competition. Attached, please see the fries I’ve attached to this review. They really looked at these fries and said “yeah those are good to send out”. I don’t know how a fry can be burnt, cold, soggy, and stale at the same time. I won’t even start about the toast 😑 I am so disappointed, I really thought this DQ wasn’t like all of the other fast food places around😢

I have been patronizing our neighborhood DQ for many years. It’s the spot I always took our kids after a hard sports practice or to celebrate the last day of school or a great test grade. Lots of good memories here and lots of delicious ice cream! Special shout out to Will at the drive thru window who served our ice cream with a smile!
