We're here on holiday and went in today to get some breakfast. Amazing breakfast sandwiches and platters. Extremely helpful and friendly owner as well. Will definitely come back before we leave.

Stopped in for lunch. Hanni greeted me, and after I told him it was my first time stopping in went over all my questions. Had a great lunch dinning in. 10/10 recommend stopping in to see him and his brother!

We tried this place for the first time today, unsure of what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality, affordability, and clean dining room. The staff were very friendly and we're glad we tried it. We fed a family of 4 for less than $40, which is unheard of anywhere else!

Famous is a little gem here in OP. I have been coming here for years. It hosts a welcoming environment and the food is always made to order so you know it’s fresh! I highly recommend their hot subs and fries!

Fantastic spot with classic, fast service and incredible food. The burgers are massive, and the fries and onion rings are delicious. The owners are great, too. The food is so good it disappears instantly—you’ll definitely want to order extra. I'll be back for sure!

I had been wanting a good 'steak in a sack' and onion rings. I saw a great review about Famous Sandwiches on 'ClayEats' and knew my husband & I needed to give them a try. (Especially after the owner replied to my comment on there.) The steak in a sack was huge and flavored so well. And not too salty like so many other places are. I would be willing to say it's the best I've ever had. The onion rings were just as promised. Delicious and crispy. They also had great sweet tea. (That's a biggie for me.) The restaurant itself was very clean. I want to go back and try their chicken livers next!

My wife wanted to try this place out. She had seen it on a page she follows and asked a question on a reviewer's comment. The owner replied to her which really impressed us. So we stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and everyone there was nice. We both got the steak in a sack combo and subbed onion rings for the fries. (This was based on the owner's suggestion). We were VERY pleased. The steak in a sack was a generous portion and the onion rings were delicious. My wife and I agree that it is the best steak in a sack we have had in years! We have a new eating out place for a quick bite. We will definitely be returning!

This place has great eggs. Cooked to perfection. The seasoned fries are to die for. But the best part is the staff! Very friendly and easy to get along with. They remember you even if you're not a regular. But guess what? I'm going to be a regular!

Consistency good (and very affordable) sandwich shop. Delicious and fresh-to-order sandwiches. Decor is very simple and basic (by design), and very very clean. Kind and professional staff.
