Ordered a large drink from the drive thur. Was handed a large cup with a plastic lid from a bowl. It had no straw hole. Meaning it was solid. I told the girl it was the wrong lid. She told me that it was the right lid. She said I was suppose to take the lid off and drive down the road holding an over full cup without spilling it. She got pissed when I said that was ridiculous. It was like ordering soup and only having a fork available. Stupid. Actual food was ok.

I went inside to order my food because my vehicle did not go through drive-through. There was no one as far as customers in the lobby. I see plenty of workers, but they all seem to notice me, but ignore me, and only care about drive-through. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for these 10 minutes Still was being ignored like if I was not even there so I decided to leave will never go to another

Pulled in at 10:15 Friday, May 23, 2025. One car was in front of us. We sat at the menu without anyone acknowledging we were there. As we started to drive away thinking they were closed for some reason, a male voice took our order. 4 Krystal’s, 1- pup, 1 medium fry and 1- Spicy Chicken. Pulled to window, a female asks what we ordered. We told her, she takes our card, runs it and say- ‘It’s going to be awhile’ please pull up. My hubby asked, ‘wait, what is a while, she laughed and told us to pull forward. We did, we noticed there was 1 other car. (The car that was in front of us). We sat there for 5 more cars to pull forward (now parking in parking spots). We witnessed the male voice come out of the door, go to car (in front of us) said, he’s made their order 2 times, why don’t they have it. Started cursing and having a melt down, and yelling he was the ONLY one here, taking orders and cooking, that it is BS. He came to us and asked what we ordered. We told him. We also said, we would like our money back that female should have told us about the waiting BEFORE she ran our card. He ignored that. About 25 minutes later, female comes out with our order. We are staying at Hilton next door. We both take a bit of our Krystal’s and say- They are either frozen burned or still frozen when they were trying to cook them. No onion on them and absolutely DISGUSTING. Chili Pup and Spicy Chicken were cold but cooked. Worst part about this, Tampa only has 1 Krystal burger location so we were so excited when we saw a Krystal burger next to the Hilton off 17 & 295. Only for it to be the WORST experience and disgusting Krystal burger. Absolutely awful.

Annoying more than anything because it was a late night… and when I asked for extra mustard and pickle, instead, they gave me 1 billion pieces of onion, falling out of one burger and it got all over my belongings. I’m sure someone thought it was funny. I didn’t. They wasted their companies resources and my time. I guess it’s best to lower my expectations regarding this type of establishment if I’m to be met with this type of behavior.

Service was spot on. Order was correct as well. It was 1045pm, at night on a Wednesday. My first time ever to a Krystal as well. I would not recommend it. Just soggy, gray looking burger, seeming just put on the bread with out draining, soggy'd the bread completely and for the flavor, just not good in my opinion, I had a 3 burger meal... I ate 1 and a bit of the second one... stopped, fries were old and chewy, and just not good. The diet coke was good. The windows in the whole store were fogged up and water running down them could not see out one window at all. It seemed a bit runned down or not cared for in the best way. My experience was not an enjoyable one. Sorry, but I do not think Krystal is a place I'll be revisiting again.
