I love this place and have been a returning customer here ever since they opened off of Wells Road. My friends are a massive, diverse group of neurodivergent, multiracial, trans and queer folk which have all never been harassed or yelled at for any reason other than potentially being disruptive and disrespectful (all times rare, though negotiated). Good times to be had by any and all
On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, my gf and I were invited to Leaderboard Arcade Bar & Pizzeria in Jacksonville to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We arrived a little after 6 while other members of our party were already gaming, drinking and having a great time. We bought game cards, many shots and drinks, and even food. As the night progressed, 2 of our other friends were able to meet us to join in on the fun too, both of whom which are Black women. While my girlfriend and I were playing darts, we had set our drinks down at the table near the board and naturally our friends migrated to the table as well. My other friend then takes my place and I have a seat with my 2 friends. During this time, a plate of cauliflower wings made its way to our table whom my 2 friends (who had only just arrived less than 30 min before) assumed it was for our table and someone in our party had ordered them. Amidst the many drinks, loud arcade environment, AND being an Autistic and ADHD woman with noise sensitivity earplugs in I can attest that it was a bit chaotic and hard to read/understand people, but alas we were still having a good time. My gf whom is ALSO Autistic and ADHD, mistook these wings as one of our friends’ and ate one. Next thing I know, a man approaches my friends asking if they enjoyed eating other people’s food. Mind you, I’m across the table and the environment is not one I can understand people speaking well, and I heard “Are you enjoying the food?” As an Autistic woman, I use a familiar social strategy and naturally smile and nod assuringly thinking this is someone who works at the establishment. The man then says something else to my friend about going to tell the manager. At this point, I had assumed that it was just great customer service and checking in on tables. Literally was the opposite. The man and a waitress then approach my friends sitting with me and starts to ACCUSE them of stealing this man’s food and were being asked to leave. She didn't give ANYONE time to explain ANYTHING and was singling out our 2 Black friends and RACIALLY PROFILING THEM. As the situation progressed, she then stated she would call the cops. My friends tried to reiterate that neither of then had ate the food and she stated aggressively "I can run the cameras.” To which my INNOCENT friends told her to "feel free to run them.” She walked off to run the cameras thinking she would catch them in some sort of lie. After she ran the cameras, she CLEARLY saw she was wrong in her accusation against my friends, and that it was actually my girlfriend (whom is still playing darts with another friend) she STILL told my friends that they AND my gf (whom would’ve gladly paid for the wings on top of our ALREADY $200+ tab that was still open) had to leave. At this point they (my 2 Black friends) asked for an apology for throwing accusations at them of something they did not do. The kitchen manager was with her and after explaining again that they (my 2 Black friends) didn’t eat the food and to please stop directing this situation at them, they were STILL demanded to leave. At this point, it’s blatant racism and my friends ask why because again my 2 friends did NOT eat the wings. The kitchen manager man then, continued to be verbally aggressive and threatened to call the cops on them. Now recognizing the escalation of the situation, I go let our friend whom the celebration was for know of the situation and to let him know we would be outside. He attempted to deescalate the situation and address the blatant discrimination and disrespect which resulted in the kitchen manager continuing to be disrespectful and kicking the party out. I then rush to get my ID back from the counter for the darts while my gf rushes to close her tab to be able to remove ourselves from the establishment and chaos that was ensuing all because of an establishment that hires unprofessional, racist, disrespectful and discriminatory employees that don’t take the time to fully understand a situation before spewing verbal accusations and threats towards their customers. It was my birthday yesterday and I went there, the one off shad road and apparently they have a sign on the door saying all are welcome but that’s not the case. A hate crime was committed by the employees themselves. My gay friend was there and apparently when someone gets brought food and they eat it they can’t? Make that make sense. And the employee said it was his food when they took it to my friend. I’m doing karaoke at the time, then come out to defuse the situation and apparently it’s was such a problem that the new food I offered to buy him was unacceptable. The employee was clearly drunk, and when he escalated it, his friend bartender came out and made it worse. I wouldn’t go there again. Also kicked out my colored friends for just standing there. So no not everyone is welcome there. The employees themselves commuted 2 hate crimes on my friends for being black and for being gay. Lawsuit right there.
So much games!!! Lots of fun and very friendly staff.
Unique and fun place. Food was good. Vibe was perfect. Pricey could be better.
Place is always amazing
Easy to spend a lot here. We came on a half priced game night and that's very much worth it. They have some creative appetizers I haven't had before (Sonic Rings - deep fried banana peppers, absolutely delicious) and their pizza was good enough.
The games themselves are mix of retro arcade machines, multi-game cabinets, and unique Japanese imported rhythm games in a variety of formats. I felt like a kid in "nonspecific animatronic cheese rat's place" again.
Take my kids here all the time. Great atmosphere for kids and great old arcade games and lots of pin ball machines. Food isn't bad either.
A blast from the past with great pizza and good people. Went for a date night. The bartenders were awesome, especially Matt. The games were fun, and we also showed up on trivia night. It's a great place if you like older games and pinball along with great beer, a good atmosphere, and awesome staff.
The bar is a scam, $10 for a mixed drink that is 90% juice. Ordered one of the Halloween drinks and even my girlfriend who can’t tolerate alcohol said it was super sweet with barely any alcohol.
Not to mention the games are expensive as hell. $10 gets about 5 minutes of fun with maybe a game of ski ball and two other miscellaneous games.
The crowd also sucks, but the staff are helpful and friendly, so that’s a plus.

Loads of fun. Great prices, delcious food and drinks!
I ordered their food on uber eats for the first time ever trying them and their food is outstanding! Their Parmesan garlic wings and the lemon pepper wings are so good! Way better than the big wing chains! Also their southwestern egg rolls were to die for !! I’ll definitely be trying more of their food in the near future!
Nothing like great drinks, amazing pizza, and best arcade games for the classic 80’s fan base. Had a great time and will def be coming more and more. Way smart to buy the all u can play card. Pinball machines are the best !
Arcade machines from Japan and lots of pinball machines. Small sized but enjoyable.
Really nice blast to the past experience with amazing food and super selection of draft beers!
