This place is phenomenal! Had the stuffed chicken breast with lemon garlic sauce along with a couple appetizers. I have no doubt the whole menu is this good.

My wife has family that live in Puerto Rico and having visited a few times we (Crave) the unique cuisine. Palermo is the next best thing to eating dinner out in Puerto Rico. The restaurant feels special when you drive up with that big oak tree in the parking lot and it’s the only place in town that serves perfect Mofongo and red beans and rice. We live in Saint Augustine, but make the trip up every couple of months and it’s absolutely worth it.

Came to visit all the way from Georgia. Such a fun and inviting dining experience. Exceptional service and a variety of tasteful dishes on the menu! I highly recommend Palermo 😋

Here’s the thing, I am one step removed from being considered a stalker, I am absolutely obsessed with this restaurant, the food, the service the ambiance, this magnificent restaurant is located in an unassuming spot but don’t let it fool you, this place is simply Divine, as a woman born and raised in Puerto Rico I can say every bite transports me back to my homeland, they are as authentic as they come. The staff lie equally as friendly as my island people (shout out to Migdalia and Jeanette) lovely ladies and I am embarrassed to say they welcome me every time (again I am on stalker status or perhaps #1 fan sounds better) my go to is the chicken stuffed with mashed sweet plantains topped with the goat cheese sun dried tomatoes sauce (just trust me!) it’s a beautiful marriage of flavors, almost like a delicate dance and honestly I don’t know who came up with this specific dish but they deserve a high five.. (keeping it PG here people) my new favorite is their skirt steak (churrasco) I am a snob, I like what I like how I like it and this skirt steak is on par with skirt steaks I have enjoyed at 5 star/white glove service places and it’s beautifully priced! Normally I have to drench my skirt steak with chimichurri sauce but I have no clue how or what they season their skirt steak it honestly doesn’t need the chimichurri (but yes I still covered it with their chimichurri). I could basically write love letters about Palermo’s, their food heals my soul (corny I know) but it does, being away from my homeland, my family and friends this place brings joy and warmth. Basically, change your plans and just stop by! Make sure you tell them Miriam says hello, lol!

Hubby and I went to Palermo Puerto Rican Kitchen today located off Kingsley Ave in Orange Park. We've been here a few times and have enjoyed every visit.
For the appetizer my husband ordered us the beef empanadas. We've had the chicken before and it's a tough toss up between the two because they're both just so damn good and flavorful!
For entrees I chose Arroz Con Pollo (Rice and Chicken) with Black Beans and he got the Pernil Asado (Slow Roasted Pork) with yellow rice.
Both entrees came with sweet plantains (which is couldn't even for 1 bite of because I was so stuffed), but hubby was trying to fit as many as he could down.
Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. We didn't wait long at all for anything.

Went here for lunch and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Everything I had was delicious and well seasoned if you are in the area definitely come and get the empanadas… I had the breaded chicken chuncks with rice and beans and it was in point! if I was here longer I would surely come back again. #
