Best place to enjoy fried shrimp that has just the right amount of batter. It is so light that you can see the perfectly cooked pink shrimp through it! Yum!Quaint, family style restaurant with a friendly staff! Can't wait to visit again!
We got the 20 piece fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp were tender and delicious. Perfectly cooked. The green beans were also delicious. Our server was very personable and served us quickly. Highly recommend.
Sam's Is located on the West side of Highway 17 in Orange Park, a few miles north of Corky Bell's. I had the fried shrimp, which was absolutely excellent. By that, I mean it was tender, almost melt-in-your-mouth shrimp, and the taste was wonderful. . . just wow. The sweet tea also was delicious, and had a very rich tea taste. The butter was a bit spicy, really good.
