Wife and I had lunch here for our first time. Absolutely out of bounds cuisine! Have had lots of Indian cuisine in multiple states and Bay Leaf is no doubt THE best I have ever had! Started with the spring rolls and fried cauliflower app and they were amazing. I had the Rogan Josh with lamb and the flavors and tasty tender lamb was probably one of the finest dishes I have had in my life! That good!. My new absolute favorite restaurant. Solid 5 stars. 6 if I could! Highly recommended. Interior was super clean and well designed. Waiter was outstanding as well.

If you are looking for some authentic Indian food...this is it.
Place is challenging to get to I kept driving around it had to call someone to get directions.
The host were very kind but struggled a little to communicate. The atmosphere is okay with plenty of sitting even for a large group.

The weekend buffet was good. Many good choices. Service was good, not friendly but good. Not a big buffet but enough great choices.

Lamb Phall, never had it, my go-to is vindaloo. Very nice spicy and that awesome blend of bold and delicate flavors together.Chilli naan was probably some of the prettiest I've ever had and the texture was wonderful crunchy light and chewy but not too chewy.Definitely have to go back for the buffet on the weekend I believe they said they have 20 plus dishes and it's $18. I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine but this is delicious and seems like it's not just Americanized. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and passionate.This is another no-brainer win if you're looking for Indian anywhere in Sarasota County I would drive there for it. It's also quite a bit more affordable than some of the places up in Sarasota.

We love Bay Leaf. We usually split three dishes for four people unless I want to take home a leftover, which I often do! We continue to try new things. Have not gone wrong yet. Favorites: chicken Korma and coconut mango curry but you can’t go wrong! Their pashwari naan is to die for!
