My wife has been on a search for the perfect meatball sub every where we go. Her search is over with Bella Vino...!!! It is the BEST meatball sub she has found in FL! -- wonderful, crusty, home made bread. -- toasted nicely. -- great meatballs. -- just the right amount of sauce...not too much...yet comes with a small dish of extra sauce in case you're wanting a saucier meatball sub. Thoroughly satisfying. Their chicken parm sub is equally delicious--and Both reasonably priced. We arrived in a Thursday at 4p. The door was locked. Inquired at their sister restaurant ( Mexican cuisine) below who said it should be open. She ran up the stairs and opened the door. We're happy we didn't leave. We were there only ones there for 30 minutes. Afternoon Wait staff did not seem to have arrived yet--so service was started by the downstairs receptionist... Consequently, service was somewhat wanting but e we were quite happy with our meal. Thursdays they have a live trio playing after 5. All in all we will be returning too try out some of their other dishes s as well as their yummy subs. We'll be returning

We had an excellent meal! It is a little odd that it's above a Mexican restaurant, but once we found it, ohmygosh, was it worth it. We had the meatballs appetizer - delicious! Warm, crusty bread. They bake it to order. Don't rush it. Be patient. The eggplant parm was the best I ever had. The entire table agreed. I also had the bean soup - smoky and hearty. Another at our table had the carbonara. He loved it. Everyone at our table loved their meal and we heard similar comments from others at nearby tables. Dana, the owner was our server and we enjoyed chatting with her about the recipes. I would eat there again tomorrow. And the day after.

This little restaurant is a classic example of don't judge a book by the cover. Would love to do a makeover on the interior, it has the potential to look good. The food was excellent, and the Bread was delicious.

The sauce was amazing. I would compare it to my mother-in-law’s! What is really nice, is that you can order Italian from upstairs or Mexican from downstairs. Something for everyone! And our waitress deserves a 10. Her name was Cheyenne.

WARNING! This restaurant needs to close! I ordered food on Super Bowl Sunday via door dash. When I got to restaurant to pick the food up, the doors were locked. I banged on the door and a person answered. They said the owner closed very early today. I told them I had paid for the food via door dash and there was no indication that they were closed. Was told the owner did it. The owner was not around. I sent several emails and phone calls to owner with no response. Finally a manger answered me via email and said I have to deal with door dash. My credit card showed money went to Bella Vino. I finally called door dash today and they said up to 10 days to get refund. Owner of Bella Vino did not assist in this issue. Spent over an hour of my time on this.I ordered once before from this restaurant and noticed that the Italian restaurant up stairs is empty. My order that day was wrong and had to wait to get corrected. Owner again was not around to complain to. Something really wrong when the owner is not present.Only a matter of time before this closed because of poor ownership

A hidden gem. Literally. They've moved upstairs, and the signage is minimal.The Veal Parm was great. And the tiramisu was undoubtedly the best I've had in a long time.We will return.

Quality food, good service, HOT meals, nice location, excellent evening ! We were recommended to travel from Siesta Key and it was a good decision. Had VERY high quality singer and small band that was TALENTED !!! WELL RUN & worth going !

The 3 of us ate here last night. Every dish was perfectly prepared. Long Stem Roasted Artichokes, Chicken Piccata, Veal Marsala and The Antonio Spaghetti. The Almond Crusted Tiramisu, the atmosphere, the service was everything you would want. We will definitely be back!
