Deep Lagoon Seafood and Oyster House

Had lunch at Deep Lagoon in Osprey yesterday and ordered the Tony's Smashburger—juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. Every bite was a win. But honestly, the real MVP was our server, Laura Lee. She was friendly, attentive, and somehow managed to make us feel like the only table in the place (even though they were busy). Great food, great service, and a laid-back coastal vibe. Definitely coming back!

I went here yesterday 12th of August with my family and it was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by the hostess and got a lovely table outside overlooking their amazing view.

Food was amazing, we all had different items as clam chowder soup, mussels, cheese and crab dip, onion rings, swordfish, triple tail fish, burger, surf and turf- yes we ate like pigs.

The bread that they serve with the starters was so good! Want the recipe thanks and thank you Nesa for being our waitress you were lovely! Also, not to forget! The amazing carrot cake is a must, such a good idea to throw your birthday here and share that. Yum yum! And of course you don’t even need an excuse like your birthday, just get it!

Can fault this place, I would come back here again immediately!

The food was just as good as it could be: fresh and plentiful. The sauce was not exotic, just traditional The sweet potatoed were less abundante. The server was super attentive. Emilyn? The only things negative were it was freezing and the view was obscured by the shades. Perhaps a clear film would have been better for keeping the place warmer.

Upon walking into the restaurant the hostess told us it’s about 15-20 min wait time which we said ok to. After waiting for about 25 minutes we were told that it’s not going to take 5 more minutes. We waited additional 10 minutes total of 35. We approached the hostess again and were told same thing to wait 5 more minutes which is very disrespectful! If we were told to wait for about 45 minutes we would go elsewhere and don’t wast our time waiting!!! Not recommend to anulyone!!!

Karine was the most outstanding server! She made our day so fun. On top of that, the meal was excellent. I would especially recommend the lobster bisque. On top of it all, the manager sent us over a carrot cake for the table! Literally the best cake we’ve all ever had. We will be back!

I go there often. Love sitting on the deck watching nature. The service is always good. Food is yummy. Good oysters. Love the plantains!

Deep Lagoon dining room sits on the 2nd floor overlooking the intercoastal. Its a great spot to eat and watch the sunset. Our waiter J was great and very attentive. The drinks were on the weak side to say the least. Coconut shrimp appetizer was four large shrimp and it was pretty good- not the best we have had. The bread and butter is delicious. Group Rockefeller was very good. Nice pieces of grouper however the crab that was practically non-existent. Wife had the scallops dish that was excellent. Great date night spot.
