I had been told in advance to get the pancakes. I got the short stack with blueberries. I’m usually not a pancake person, but these were very good and they were generous with the blueberries. I also got the excellent ham steak which was thick-cut and nicely seared on both sides.
Max’s Table was busy on this Saturday morning. Since I was by myself I was able to bypass the line at the host stand and snag a seat at the counter. Service was good and the atmosphere a little crazy, but welcoming.

Our favorite breakfast spot! Perfect potatoes, the biscuit is delightful, eggs ordered a variety of ways have been perfection. Drinks refilled at just the right time. Lots of staff all working together and with smiles! Great place. I wish they’d open one closer to us but we just plan our adventures down south when we can!

The French toast was absolutely amazing, everything else seemed typical. The hostess, the server and pretty much everybody working there seemed pretty stressed out and overwhelmed and it wasn’t crazy busy. We won’t go back, but enjoyed the food

The clam chowder was absolutely incredible. Lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Gyro, awesome. French fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The staff was super helpful and generally very happy and pleasant. Thank you!

This is a typical breakfast restaurant. Not great. Not terrible. The food was good. The service was okay. Although my coffee emptied and it took awhile to get a refill. And it appeared clean and adequate. Overall, it was fine. I would eat here again if I was in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't go out of my way just for this place.
