This is a five-table cafe that just serves good American country food. They have sufficient parking. We had the fried shrimp which was pretty good sized, with homemade cocktail sauce. The grilled chicken sandwich was also good and plenty big. For their size the menu had lots of choices. Service was good. We will stop by again.
Someone told us about how great the food is at the Sweat Pea. We stopped by and we both had their chicken fried steak and I have to agree that the meal was great. Maybe the best CFS I have ever eaten!!!
Outstanding hamburgers, BLT’s other sandwiches and chicken strips with gravy. We were there for lunch and did not order dinner items, but they had award winning chicken fried steak. They also have an extensive menu. If you are looking for great, flavorful home cooking, this is the place for you.
