The Point kitchen + cocktails + sunset

Food was excellent. We had a party of four and we all loved what we got the grouper was awesome.

The atmosphere was wonderful. We sat outside although it was a little cool and breezy. The sunset added to the ambiance. The Espresso Martini was lacking in flavor even though it was made with Espresso and not just Coffee Liquor. Wouldn't order it again. The waiter was nice and friendly but not sure if the shrimp was fresh and local vs farm raised. We did start with the boom boom shrimp. It was very good. For dinner we did the crab cake sandwich with fries and Cajun Seafood Pasta. Both were very good. Would definitely order again. Will definitely go back.

We ordered calamari for an appetizer. Portion was smallish for $ 18 and it was served on a bed of lettuce that made much of it soggy. Had a cobb salad. The salad itself was excellent, but the blue cheese dressing was too mayonnaisie. My wife had the sole, which was very good, but it came out cold and had to be returned to kitchen for re-heating, which disrupted the meal. Also, for some reason the portion that came back after re-heating was smaller, though they did bring out another piece after we complained. No issues with the server and the views and ambience were excellent. The overall experience was positive. Slight improvements to the cuisine would really, really improve and upgrade this restaurant.

Go here for the amazing sunset while sitting on the porch. The food is ok, not great. Our server was juggling tables inside and outside and gave us marginal attention.

Service wasn't good but the food was good and the view of the sunset was nice. There was an outdoor party outside downstairs so it was a little noisy. I mentioned that it was my birthday when I made the reservation and while I was there and nothing was offered free.

Perfect evening in Southwest Florida! Unbelievable sunset, Great food and service then dancing at the outside bar/Tiki Hut.

Thank you to Julie and Patrick who hosted our company Christmas Party at The Point. The location was perfect, service was exceptional and Patrick kept the drinks flowing. I highly recommend The Point for any celebration or event! Outstanding!

The service and food were amazing. There was a large group there that was very noisy. That is my only complaint.

Great place to eat for sunset. We sat on the patio and could hear the band from the Tikki bar.

Our waiter Oscar was excellent, and was above average in serving us. Happy Hour prices are so good and the app choices are varied and nice portions. We enjoy the Point very much!

First time at The Point on Friday night. All of our food was quite delicious and priced well. Cannot beat the beautiful sunset view and calm chill atmosphere. Could hear the music coming from the tiki bar which was awesome. All around perfect dinner spot, but the service was pretty terrible. Took forever to get someone to take our order, burger/fries served with no ketchup. Had to ask twice & ended up taking 15 minutes to get it. No refills on drinks, waiter just disappeared. Had to ask for dessert menu and I literally watched 12 minutes go by with waiter not returning to take our dessert order. And he inly had a couple tables, so there was no excuse. We finally walked to the hostess booth to ask for our check & then he couldn't get us a receipt. I would give them another try & hopefully better service!
