Come with 4 air airboats , we park at the boat docks and about to walk in to get dinner, only for the manager to send his manager “do not park at the boat docks” park on the other side , we went to the other side only for shabby dock then two of our guys almost fell through. Clearly the do not like air boat or support our 10 patron business. We went elsewhere.To respond to comment below. We did park on the costumer side & were told to leave.

We had a large school group visit Black Hammock en route to Orlando. From day 1, they were very helpful and accommodating to our group of 100+ people. Jayson was always available and flexible along the way and went above and beyond to meet the needs and requests of our group. Thank you so much for everything! You were awesome!

I was looking to take my family to a different place to eat while supporting a local business. We saw the pictures online and thought this place would be good. We arrived at 7:15pm and we waited for 15mins before the waitress came to see us. When she finally came she said they are closed, but we could do carry out if we wanted. I asked her what time did they close and she said 15 minutes ago. Google states that they close at 8:30 pm. She said that they have been slow all day and that they were shutting down early. In my mind id you are slow all day, as a business you would want to take any business you could. We really felt unwelcomed. I will definitely not recommend this place.

I ordered a PoyBoy gator sandwich and it was super super cold. Very gross. I took 2 bites and it made me sick for 2 days. The gator meat tasted like a wet towel filled with cold hair gel.When I called the general manager he was going back and forth on weather or not the sandwich is supposed to be cold. I guess the answer is somewhere in the middle. It was one of the grosses things I've ever eaten. I don't recommend anyone to go there.(repost from May 2022)Update : I emailed Christina who responded to this review. She claims the general manager Jayson of the restaurant did not remember talking to me and that yes the Po Boy sandwich is supposed to be hot. I was offered to return to the restaurant to try the sandwich again or anything else on the menu again.I refused her offer because if the manager didn't make note of my complaint, then that would mean he didn't take the proper steps to prevent serving an old sandwich.

Started off with the captain getting short with a sick child because she wasn’t responding to him fast enough.Went on the boat so lots of gators the captain seemed to calm down some and was fairly informative.Got back and decided to try the restaurant and the real joke started the appetizers took 2hrs to get to our table and was like eating rubber the bathroom smelled like rotten stale urine. The atmosphere in the dining room was almost as nasty as the bathroom we saw several plates of food not getting eaten.

This restaurant wasn't very busy when we got there. It took the server awhile to get the beverages to us. Food was great but the gal didn't take real good care of us. They did get a little busier but her service could have been better.
