CFS Coffee Oviedo

One of my fav spots to meet a friend for coffee and a chat. Staff are super, coffee great and breakfast and/or pastries consistently delicious!

This quaint coffee shop brings all the vibes. The staff are great and personable. They walk you through the menu and share favorites. It only takes one visit and you’ll be hooked. It truly is a gem. Not only does it provide great tasting coffee, it just gives you a taste of a little tropical coffee break.

Went today and visited CFS in Oviedo, ordered coffee and pancake! The worst pancake I have ever eaten. Do not recommend this Cafe to anyone.

I love this place for atmosphere, diversity of the menu items and most of all for the wonderful people that work here. Ricky waited on me and was so helpful when I asked if they can do my second cup of coffee decaf. He said no worries I will take care of that for you. He also helped with confusion on getting onto the wifi. We had a lovely conversation about a wide variety of things and it was a pleasure to talk with him. Many other workers circulated throughout entire time I was there delivering food and keeping all the table clear and clean. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area as well. If looking for a place to enjoy your morning with a friend or just to get some work done this is the place for you.

Kid-friendliness: There is a back area that also has chairs and tables to enjoy plus three chalkboard /drawing boards for children along with beautiful and accommodating bathrooms.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps from the parking areas down to the restaurant.

Kind staff but I was getting a quick bite and drink to go and ordered beef empanadas (2 of them) and a refresher drink. After a long wait to try and get to the one POS system to order after the teller was describing the notes of coffee to the individual in front of me I was finally able to order. Sad to say I wont be back based on the food. I’ve had empanadas from everywhere from upscale restaurants to even gas station varieties because you generally cant go wrong… especially when looking for something fast and handheld. However, they attempted to serve what tasted like bland shredded strands with mush in a raw shell that was only cooked on one side. I thought they might have mistakenly given me a vegetarian one and asked them to correct it but they confirmed it was beef. Well, I am concerned because their beef is white and stringy and seemed to comprise of 10% of the filling along with what they confirmed to be potatoes. You know what this tells me? That they are taking advantage of their customers. Stuffing something full of potato and a sprinkle of unidentifiable tasteless meat and passing it off like “beef”. Disappointing; will not be returning.
